Di ko tuloy ma-install ng maayos yung latest driverng R9 380: Crimson Edition 16.4.2 Hotfix, laging nag aauto download yung windows at iniinstall yung lumang driver.

Anyone here notice some slowdowns sa latest drivers? I just installed yung latest and currently sa 390x ko nagdrodrop na sa minimum of 33fps yung Rise of the Tomb Raider with DX12 on at Very High settings from a previous 38-40fps minimum.

Mga sir tanong ko lang po..
I have Sapphire R9 270x Dual X, mdalas sya naka 100% fan speed (3300 RPM) kahit ang temps nya is nasa around 35 degrees pag idle and 60 degrees naman at full load.. tried tweaking with msi afterburner, sapphire trixx and overdrive pero ayaw eh
minsan nababa sya sa normal (1300 RPM) pero madalas at full speed talaga sya
may nakaexperience na ba sa inyo nito?
using crimson driver 16.6.1 hotfix

*Gigabyte R9 380 G1 Gaming 4gb
*MSI R9 380 Twin Frozr 4gb
Salamat sa sasagot, eto po ay incase na wala sa option ang RX 480

heto from site ni AMD
AMD FreeSync™ technology will utilize DisplayPort Adaptive-Sync protocols to enable dynamic refresh rates for video playback, gaming and power-saving scenarios.
All AMD Radeon™ graphics cards in the AMD Radeon™ HD 7000, HD 8000, R7 or R9 Series will support AMD FreeSync™ technology for video playback and power-saving purposes. The AMD Radeon™ R9 295X2, 290X, R9 290, R9 285, R7 260X and R7 260 GPUs additionally feature updated display controllers that will support dynamic refresh rates during gaming.
AMD APUs codenamed "Kaveri," "Kabini," "Temash," "Beema" and "Mullins" also feature the necessary hardware capabilities to enable dynamic refresh rates for video playback, gaming and power-saving purposes. All products must be connected to a display that supports DisplayPort Adaptive-Sync.
It is our current understanding that the software architecture of select games may not be compatible with dynamic refresh rate technology like AMD FreeSync™ technology. In these instances, users will be able to toggle the activation of FreeSync in the AMD Catalyst™? driver.

Depende sa goal mo:
Gaming - No
High Score in [put name of popular synthetic benchmark] - Yes

As long na may X-Fire support, you're good and should be expecting a little less than double of your framerates. But then,
depende naman sa rig mo. I have been benching up to quad AMD Hawaii cards. As long na capable yung CPU mo, maganda scaling ng Crossfire esp at 2 cards.
Take note:
You will probably need no less than 1000W PSU sa dalawang 390.
Then cooling should be taken into account. Mainit sila. :P

Fury X? :D Bat di 980TI or kahit 1070? Mura na 980TI di ba? But I digress.
Most ng bagong games mejo problematic talaga sa Crossfire. But then yung Driver support naman ng AMD is very good for these GPU Family.
And to put it in context, tanging GTX Titan X Pascal pa lang ang makakatalo sa dual Hawaii/Grenada Crossfire.

Lahat sila FreeSync compatible, pero I don't recommend buying those cards now. Yung magandang alternative sa RX 480 is RX 470 since hindi naman malayo ang performance ng dalawa. Kung maging available sa atin ang custom RX 470 na 4GB version I think mas sulit yun compared to custom R9 380's.
BTW nasa Php 12,560 yung Sapphire RX 470 NITRO with 8GB of VRAM. Same price lang siya halos with the MSI R9 380 GAMING videocard.

mga sir ok ba cf ang 390?
I don't think it's a good idea now. For one thing ang laki ng heat ouput ng dual R9 390 videocards sa case mo unless you watercool them or makahanap ka ng reference version with blower type coolers. Also you will need a very beefy PSU since
each R9 390 consumes higher than 250 watts, especially kung custom version gamit mo like Sapphire R9 390 NITRO TRI-X. Kung gusto mo na efficient yung operation ng PSU at tatagal yung PSU lifespan. you will need a 1000W PSU to maintain 50% load and max efficiency while gaming... I'm not kidding.
Kung serious ka mag Crossfire, go with dual RX 480's para mas maganda ang power efficiency and less ang PSU requirement. Pero kailangan check mo din ang game kung maganda ang Crossfire support kasi most games hindi maganda ang performance scaling when adding a 2nd GPU.
Also take note na magiging bihira ang dedicated Crossfire support / SLI support sa DirectX 12 games. Most developers will rely lang on DX12 Multi-adapter mode which is still inefficient compared to optimized Crossfire or SLI. The only way developers will support Crossfire or SLI is kung babayaran sila ni AMD or Nvidia to do the optimization sa game engine nila.

If you already have one and will buy the 2nd card... cheap nlng cya ngaun 11k-12k cya and dont buy above that price dahil noong clearance sale before the rx 480 12.5-13k ung bnew na 390
