Western Digital Green for Windows?

  Would a Western digital green be ok to install windown on?
  My windows is currently installed on a seagate barracuda 500 GB, but since i\'m running out of disc space. I\'m planning to upgrade to a 3TB and will just partition . any recommended HDD?

  puede naman... mabagal lang ang performance, especially kung mag-games ka.

  Green caviar not advisable for OS.... Black hdd for OS...

  I think mas bibilis ang system mo kung bili ka ng murang ssd then dun mo ilagay os mo then for other data lagay mo sa wd green or other hard disk. That\'s my setup and mabilis.

  just get the blue, safe option. ssd din if possible, of course mas mahal nga lang

  Hanggang 1tB lang yata ang blue?
  i currentlyhave my windows installed sa 500 GB, pero napupuna na kasi storage hdd ko kaya naisip ko yung windows hdd ko palitan ng malaki :D

  \"daw\" - no, kaya basta i-partition mo sya as GPT instead of MBR. diskmgmt.msc

  kaya yan pero:
  
  1) your mobo must be UEFI capable para makapag boot into win 7.
  2) MBR can\'t access > 2TB, but GPT can but only if this is not the boot drive.

  No, meron ako dati na WD Green 1TB EARS series now EADS(After ng RMA) and hindi advisable gawin OS drive + files.
  Mabagal masyado for both as I experienced.
  
  An advisable setup is use the 500GB as an OS drive and use the 2-3TB as data drive(downloads, desktop, my documents etc etc).
  Otherwise go for blue; the standard drive.

  thanks! :) i Guess I\'ll just add another drive, I\'m just worried that an additional hard drive will consume more electricity hehe.

  hdd is probably the slowest part ng pc. ok na yung blue, use ssd if you have the budget, kahit pang OS lang (and some apps,games)

  Malakas ba kumain kuryente hdd? Pag mag add nalang kaya ako ngb2tb hdd formdownloads? And keep my old hdds?
