mag-dual OS boot ang pc, primary is Win7 at secondary ay Ubuntu?
Mas maganda mag VMWare ka na lang ng isa pang Windows (or Linux) para doon mo open yung mga suspicious files and sites. Less cumbersome pa sa pag dual boot.

I use Symantec Endpoint Protection. The company I work with use this. It's the corporate version of Symantec Norton.

Imonitor mo muna kung bumagal ang performance ng PC mo. AFAIK naka-on pa rin ang realtime scanning ng Avast 7 compatibility mode, on top of MSE's realtime scanning, so I'm thinking there
might be a slowdown on performance. Try adding Avast's directory and/or executables to MSE's exclusion list and vice versa. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

imo, kahit 10 pa ang antivirus na i-install mo kung di marunong/tanga ang gagamit e ma-infect pa rin ang computer.. one is enough.

I can't say, since di ko pa nasusubukan ang Avast 7. I use MSE on my mom's and dad's laptops, pretty effective din naman at light sa resources. I think Avast has more features, but you have to decide if those features are useful to you or not... hehe I'm not a fan of bloated AVs.
I agree with mark_17's opinion that one good AV is enough, just as long as you practice safe computing. :)

I'm using Norton Internet Security 2013 and Microsoft Windows Defender sa Windows 8 Pro ko. Ang gaan mag boot.:) Ok naman lahat ng Anti-Virus basta updated lang. I don't like an Anti-Virus that slows down the boot process like some.:)
