If you are not too particular, you can consider the Skyworth brand. Have the 43" Smart TV (IPS Panel), got it on sale at php17,995.00. Excellent 1080p video quality and loud enough audio.

TV Plus gamit namin...pero kung may mabilis kang internet, I would recommend CloudTV app in an android device. Almost lahat ng channels eh HD quality.
Yun lang dapat mabilis internet mo...more than 270++ channels available

Why limit yourself to a specific brand of tv, pwede naman kabit mu sa PC then convert it to HTPC. Install kodi and plex then kahit anung platform kaya mung i-run. Or kung walang PC, then rasp pi, then install kodi, kuha mu ibat-ibang channels in diff countries, discovery channel, movies, kid shows, adult shows, game emulators, etc. Basura ang smart tv kumpara sa HTPC.

Kodi is good, i have nothing against its capability....it's just that it's not as user friendly compare to CloudTV im using when watching Cable Channels and it's not as reliable too since it's sources changes from time to time...Im using Kodi too but for other purposes and not for watching Cable TV channels. CloudTV for the win...
@Pinkiepie - CloudTV is not available in the app store even in playstore...you can check it here
<click here for link>
HyperX - im not sure if SONY smart TV with Android has the capability to install CloudTV...but you can try though if you already have that TV.

that time ka-uumpisa pa lang mag-uso ang mga LCD TVs kaya ang mahal pa, purchased in 2009 from Anson's around 26k.
32" or preferably 42" much better hehehe.....1080p would be enough na.

Ayun. Baka yan ang difference ng W657D sa W65D. Not totally sure. Pero di ko na kasi naging worry kasi may cable na kami and very little chance na mag ISDB-T set up ako. Either way, ang main purpose ko sa TV is to watch lots of HD movies. :)
@mixmasta
Confirmed po na may built in ISDB-T siya at kinabitan ko ng Baron Extended Range Antenna. so far so good naman for me malinaw ang mga channels. great buy na sa akin to at super happy ako sa picture quality pag nanuod ako ng movies :)

i agree...nagsisi din ako at smart tv pa binili ko......we have a Globe 5mbps and gapang pa rin ang connection, the only Pro is if you are watching a movie then turned it off..when you open that certain movie again..it will continue on the exact time when you turned it off

You sure, panu kung mag stream ka ng 1080p with dolby master audio; or better 4K HDR dolby atmos - sabug yung phone/chromecast mu.
Well, there's nothing wrong with chromecast/phone or smart tv.
