Hello, this is a good topic kase minsan nagbrowse ako sa jobstreet may mga nangangailangan ng ganitong skills mostly mga device developments so its a good topic for question and answer portion and the best forum to show your projects or rigs for everyone to feast on
para maging productive tayo, we need to know how we can comminicate with openwrt
these are first things na dapat natin malaman: interfacing the device to computer via com port, usb at kung kailangan natin mag interface ng another device sa gpio ng openwrt device, we need to know how to interface with it using i2c, spi at can, aside from this we must have experience in linux and kernel development

I am currently reading article \"How to use I²C over USB\"

Kailangan ko kase makonnect ordinary lcd sa openwrt devices
heto rin very informative documentation of i2c

Openwrt Still has no support for SPI pero may gumagawa ng kernel para sa SPI communication, SPI is very important kase yung mga lcd karaniwan ginagamit ang spi at mga memory cards
here is 1 nice example

for those interested in hardware hacking want to play with openwrt, you may checktp-link mr3220

^actually halos lahat ata ng tplink mrXXXX supported na ng openwrt.
btw, good initiative...

tl-mr3020 uses the same chip used by arduino yun, tlthough arduino yun uses the chip as for wifi or router purposes here, we intend to use the chip as the microcontroller na rin but since it uses Linux, arduino ide can run on this os and eventually can be used to program arduino compatible chips

maganda ito kase di na masyado kailang magprogram, it seems may usb driver para sa webcam, monitor, mouse, 3g/4g modem, external hd drive, dvdwr, memory card, at kung anu-ano pa its a full featured computer, I wond kung pwede pagkabit-kabitin several of these for bitcoin mining?
tp-3020 yata di pwede maginstal ng python kase maliit lang memory nya

pwede naman basta ilagay yung installation sa memory card

this seems to be a good candidate for hardware hacking WR-NET-018-CC CD-R King Router, similar sya sa features ng tl-mr-3020 pero di ko pa nakita loob nya pero when I tried to search in alibaba, ang dami nyang kahawig na openwrt routers

welcome to the thread wendel, share ka naman ng ideas mo, busy ako,
may idea pala ako, yung ram at rom ng tl-mr3020 ay pwedeng ma-upgrade from the current ram-32mb to 64 mb, at yung 4mb rom din pwede gawing 16mb, this is more than enough for ip cam or security cam application,

How do you plan on making this work? Will the router be powered constantly? Any trip and you lose your program. Baka okay lang yun, inconvenient lang na i-reload but not for applications that need high uptime and quick recovery..

the device is just like raspberry pi, pero di sya ganun kapowerful, pero mas powerful sya kesa sa arduino, so suitable sya sa mga devices that does not require huge processsing, nasa gitna lang sya, ang suitable devices ay yung mga simple video/image capturing walang face detection di nya kaya sigurado, maganda rin sya sa robotics

mukhang interesting ito ha, how big is it? can it be embeded to small projects that require low power, most of my projects kase kailangan tatagal batteries, looking also at energy harvesters
