  • Kung same model lang naman sayo
    yung sinasabi nila na pang Mazda,
    pwede yun.
    Nagpa convert kasi ako sa Sanden
    508 since reasonable price sya na
    brand new, Calsonic kasi orig ko so madugo. Dumaan na rin ako sa
    surplus pero di rin tumagal. Eto 2
    years na ata sa akin. Baka mag
    bracket or spacer ka then palit
    fittings din. Talaga bang compressor
    ang diagnosis? Pa third or fourth opinion ka muna hehe. Isa pa pala eh
    baka di kayanin ng engine mo so
    consult ka sa aircon tech.

    kung ganun ang habol mo, stick with OEM air filter..... walang magagawa ang simota sa efficiency laban sa stock air filter.

    ang totoong rason kung bakit nag iinstall ng cone filter sila ay dahil dun sa hagok ng intake, nothing else.

    stick to oem na lang nga...
    i'm not familiar sa engine bay or air filter location ng gli.. pero kung aftermarket tube and cone filter ang ipapalit mo
    at masikip naman yung location nya kahit alisin mo yung airbox/resonator or air tube nya ay baka lalo lang mahirapan yung intake ng air..
    mas mabuti pang stick to oem set-up na lang kung airbox/resonator or air tube ang mas nagbibigay ng hangin + oem air filter..

    magandang lagyan or palitan ay yung tulad ng mga civic eg or ek.. ang laki ng espasyo mo pag tinanggal mo yung oem set-up..
    may use or space talaga yung new tube and cone filter.. at least may saysay not just for aesthetic lang talaga.. then IHE to follow..

    Unless drop-in aftermarket air filter ang bibilhin mo (still using the stock airbox), or a properly-made/fabricated cold air intake, one more thing to worry about is heat soak.

    Kung basta-basta ka lang magpapalagay ng aftermarket cone filter and intake tubing tapos walang maayos na heatshield, yung mainit na hangin sa loob ng engine bay ang hihigupin ng intake. Kapag nasa bumper-to-bumper traffic ka and/or it's a really hot day, makakaramdam ka ng matinding power loss. Kahit anong tapak mo ng accelerator pedal parang ayaw umabante nung sasakyan.

    My advice is to just stick with the OEM air filter. Tapos pa-fabricate and pakabit ka ng 4-2-1 header sa Mufflerland, kahit yung black iron lang. Pabalot mo na rin ng non-asbestos header wrap sa kanila bago ikabit yung header.

    Kung may budget pa, puwede ka ring magpagawa sa kanila ng larger-diameter mandrel bent exhaust pipe. Just don't go overboard with the diameter, kahit 1/4" or 1/2" larger lang sa stock oks na. Wag ding OA sa diameter ng muffler.

    Sa Mazda 323 ko, noticeable yung difference sa low- and mid-range power after installing a 4-2-1 header. Less noticeable yung effect nung exhaust upgrade. Pinaka-olats nung kinabitan ng K&N cone filter, negative yung effect, hehe. Kaya binalik ko na lang yung stock airbox + original OEM filter.

    mga bossing tanong ko lng kung ano brand ng Replacement Rotor Disc at Brake Pads ang pede dito sa 97' Honda City mahal sa CASA nag inquire kami kahapon.


    Not sure about the availability of replacement brake discs for the City, pero for brake pads, a common replacement is the Bendix General CT line. Widely available yan sa Banawe, etc. OEM performance at a much cheaper price.
