Actually, kaya ko sinabi na 933Mhz siya kasi tinanggal ko yung isang ram for the sake of "stability". Kaso, I have to sacrifice half of the available ram and the "dual channel".

I tried measuring ung VRM temps kanina lang pero it doesn't appear to go higher than 41C for both AIDA and checking the temperature diode display when I have attached it on the heatsink.

Mukhang mag-1 year na rin ung memory ko. I'll try switching memories just in case.

Not sure what's wrong with TPC. Sometimes I have to intentionally double post just to post a message, but in this case, I only submitted once, but my message gets doubled.

Pg idle tapos check your task manager if your cores are going wild meron ka virus. Nangyayari yan.
  • I'm doing isolation testing as we speak.

If I remove one of the RAMs, it appears that the system is stable. I'm now testing if one of the RAMs are faulty. I have already done a full testing and it appears that the system is stable when only 1 of the RAM installed. I'm doing testing now with the other RAM.

If the second RAM fails the test, then it will be a RAM issue. However, if the second RAM passes the test, then it would be a motherboard issue.
  • @tailpipe
I don't have a way para ma-test yung PWM fan as naka-closed loop water cooling ako and last time, naluto processor ko so I have to be very careful in testing.

I have reset everything in default. Perhaps I could try updating the BIOS, pero wala pa new updates except yung beta, but I am also not expecting any improved results.

What are we trying to solve here? The no display and temps as you've said. Stable na ba pc mo ngayon, using your single stick ram? If yes, ram ang culprit. Ngayon sabi mo hindi umiinit ang vrm. check the heatspreader if it has a good contact.
Sabi mo hindi ka naman ng o-oc which is good ang problem lang naman when ocing tataas temp mo sa vrm it will result to throttling. Eh hindi mo din mapapansin ang throttling kasi naka default settings ka sa bios, by which you will drop or increase clocks same as your core voltage. So you don't have too much to worry bout your VRM=)

I'll try to get back my old DDR3 RAM that I lent to my cousin after upgrading. It's 2GBx2GB so it would give me similar results. If a dual configuration fails even with a different RAM, it may be a motherboard issue. If not, this would be a RAM issue.
  • Laro lang konti...

  • ^yun oh! pang entry na ba yan paps? hehe
  • ^Wala lang ma gawa.=) Di nga ko maka 4.8ghz. Nakakainis.
  • Looks like stable na sya with both 8GB sticks after a BIOS update... Will do another test tomorrow just to be sure.

As per review from Newegg from users, please note that the board does get hot and would need better internal airflow. Since you will be using 4 120mm fans, I don't think this will be a problem for you.

You may also need to install the LAN drivers as well manually from the driver that came from the disc.

The other thing that I noticed from the build is that the casing uses rubber. While it looks good while its new, it does dry off over time and it might chip off over time.

Regardless, If this does not bother you, please do go ahead as it looks like the cable is well suited for cable management and water cooling.
  • thanks for the input, ill start my build, ill post pics here within 3 weeks. hopefully all parts have stock.

Mukhang ok na siya ulit after reorganizing everything plus cleaning and replacing the thermal paste of the northbridge and southbridge with Noctua NH1 (VRMs uses some kind of thermal tape so I can't place any paste there).

Looks like it's the better choice, un nga lang, mukhang ilang buwan pa ako kakayod para makabili na nito.
  • Guys, ano ba maganda gamitin hsf or water cooling? not into OC, gusto ko lang ma-avoid yung mataas na temp na na-experience ko last summer.

i feel you paps mahirap, talaga mag bisyo ng PC tapos may pamilya na heheeh

Diba sabi ko na eh wag basta-basta mg assume ng issue sa pc need talaga a great deal of troubleshooting.

Don't worry. Di ako nag-assume. Bumalik ulit ung issue kinabukasan nung nagpost ako nito.

  • Pwede mo palitan ng screw and knots yung push/pull locks like this:
