^Im not really sure sir pero sasagutin ko na din. I guess yes makakatipid, why? When your procie is displaying high temperature it means it consumes a lot of power.Vice versa. But, from intel procie doesn't applies kasi matipid lang ang consume nila pero mainit due to design kya nga nila ni re-refresh. Pero I don't think it will benefit users kasi meron na features na CnQ, C1e, C6 all power saving features. I tried hindi ganung dramatic ang change, 2nd sana hindi kana ng FX ng APU's ka nalang if power saving ang habol. Ito buy ka nito para Makita mo actual ang power consumption mo.

mga sir ganito kasi nag upgrade ako ng mobo,psu etc... at kulang na lang ram,vc at procie makakabuo ulit ako ng isa pang rig at ibibigay ko sa pamangkin ko at idodonate ko na yung fx 8320 ko, natural bibili ulit ako ng vishera procie dahil nga idodonate ko ang 8320 ko so balak ko 8350 na pero konti na lang kaya ko nang mag fx 9370, bale amazon or newegg ako bibili at wala ako sa pinas.... so ayos kaya ang fx 9370 or 8350 na lang pero napupusuan ko ang 9370....

Actually hindi padin ako sure kung proc ko ung may prob pero pag tinitignan ko ung event viewer ko wala na mang apps na may prob. Napansin ko din na lumalakas ung tunog ng stock fan ng proc ko. 1 year and 5mo's na ung FX8350 ko and ung max heat temp na nalog ko saknya while playing Watch_Dogs is 87 degree cel. Madalas sya mag shutdown pag nag lalaro ako ng Watch Dogs. Ang GPU ko pala is GTX 650.
Ang question ko lang mga master is FX8350 ko ba ung may prob or iba ?

^Overheat ka bro. Stock cooler ba gamit mo? Try to re-seat your cpu cooler and use a good TIM. Pg naka idle ang pc mo check mo resource monitor kung active ang cores. Sometimes kasi yung mga DL helper nagigigng active ang cores. Hindi dapat mg87c sa gaming. I also use 8350 when playing mataas na ang 52c, pg ng stress test ako 62c.
@vladz17 not worth it yung 9370 capable pa naman ang 8320 pero san mo ba gagamitin kung workstation may gains naman. Sa gaming di mararamdamn ang madadag sa 8320, kung ako sayo keep mo na lang 8320 at ibili mo na lang ng fx 6300 yung pamangkin mo.

wowwww!!! 87*C!!! sobra sobrang init nyan... reseating stock cooler won't help... my recommendation to you is to buy high performance third party CPU cooler....
ano ba ang binabantayan pag nag overclocking ung core temperature po ba o ung cputin temperature eto ba ung temp ng socket between mobo and cpu? , kase sakin ang core temp is 55c max at cputin naman eh 68c max while playing watchdog..

core temp yan mismo yung temp ng procie then mas mataas ng konti ang cpu socket na kung saan nakasaksak ang procie mo, cputin yan ang cpu socket mo, hwinfo64 kasi gamit ko eh, 72c ata max temp ng cpu socket(cputin)
Hehehe. Hindi ko master. tama din si viper you should buy a aftermarket heatsink that support the TDP of fx. but, dont buy right away. Kasi we have to isolate the problem kung overheat nga cause by non contact with procie, kasi kahit stock cooler hindi dapat ganyan kainit. Bibili ka nga agad ng cooler eh baka sira procie usually bagong batch ganyan issue.
AMD Confirms Development of High-Performance x86 Core With Completely New Architecture
AMDís top chip architect Jim Keller has confirmed during the AMDís Core Innovation press conference that they are developing a new high-performance x86 core which will replace the current high-performance x86 cores that include Steamroller, Piledriver and Bulldozer.
TechReport has revealed this interesting news which proves that the article we wrote yesterday has some truth to it and AMD is indeed developing several new cores as revealed in their Opteron roadmap today. While ARM, K12 and Steamroller would be powering several x86 and 64-bit chips between 2014 to 2016, the company will also prepare a new high-performance core that will reignite the legacy of AMDís x86 cores with a architecture built from the ground up.
Thereís lots of juicy detail here, but the big headline news is that the company is working on two new-from-scratch CPU core designs, one thatís compatible with the 64-bit ARMv8 instruction set ISA and another that is an x86 replacement for Bulldozer and its descendants. AMD has given the ARM core the code-name K12. Iím not sure whether that name also applies to the x86 core. via TechReport
In the news posted by our very own Usman Pirzada, we detailed how AMD will be ditching their existing modular architecture and go for the Simultaneous Multi Threading (SMT) design. SMT or Simultaneous Multi Threading is a technology whose roots trace back to IBM in the 1970s. However most prominently it is the technology that Intel has employed for a decade, i.e. the force behind Hyper-Threading. AMD also revealed a technology of its own to rival Intelís SMT and unlike its rival it was Modular in Nature. This technology was homebrewed by AMD and was called the CMT or Clustered Multi Threading. However even at the time that CMT was revealed, critics pointed it out as an unfeasible idea.
With Jim Keller onboard, AMD is finally developing a new core architecture thatís built from scratch and means that AMD wonít make the same mistakes they made with Bulldozer. The architecture is still far from being ready and we are looking at a launch scenario of atleast 2016-2017 so thatís still a long time to go from where we are currently. It is likely that if AMD succeeds in developing the new cores in time, then we wonít see AMDís fourth generation modular x86 Excavator cores in 2015 since AMD will skip it for the new core introduction otherwise AMDís 2015 line of APUs will stick with Excavator which will be the last modular AMD core before it hops onboard the SMT design.
Performance numbers are a mystery and so is the codename but atleast we got a conformation from AMD that they havenít abandoned the high-performance desktop market at all. AMD has several APUs planned for Opteron and desktop lines with new cores but one can now imagine much faster next generation desktop processors and APUs which will fuse AMDís next high-performance x86 core architecture.

^imo, cant tell. kasi at first they say piledriver is the last fx series. Pero ngayon baka lumabas pa ang excavator.
