MSI 970 Gaming or GA-990FXA-UD3. almost 1500 and difference and im not sure if worth it ba ung additional 1500 for the gigabyte version. kung may suggestions kayo please do. what I need in a mobo is :

    8-10 usb ports

  • 970 chipset is more optimises for 6300 while 990 is optimised for fx 8 series and up...its build for heavy overclocking...i used to have 6300 paired with asrock 970 extreme then switched to 990fxa ud3 rev. 4 and a fx8320 got it oced from stock 3.5mhz to 4.5
  • @peeping_tom

  • ^depends how lucky you are with silicon lottery, yung ganyan ko 4.2 ko lang ata napa abot i didnt push it any further kasi yung asrock 970 extreme 3 hindi maganda power phasing not recommended for heavy ocing...try mo mag search sa youtube mga ocing na may kaparehong hardware mo isa pa kelangan maganda cpu cooler mo hindi pede gamitin ang stock.
  • @peeping_tom

  • 4.5ghz pala lol or 45000 mhz
  • Tsaka safe mag OC ngayon pre kasi xmas time malamig panahon hehehe
  • @peeping_tom

  • Basta small adjustments muna then use aida64 or prime 95 for stability test pag nag bsod taas ka ng konti sa voltage

  • AMD FX-8350 & 6300: Real world power to performance testing <click here for link>

Much like the FX-8350, going past 4.4GHz required greater and greater increases in voltage on the FX-6300, but the headroom is there. I suspect on a beefier motherboard, 4.9GHz or 5GHz wouldíve been attainable without hitting a heat wall. Actual power consumption only really takes off at about 4.6GHz, though, excepting the entirely CPU-bound Handbrake, which sees the largest increases in power draw.

Itís easy to go on and on about how fast and efficient modern Intel processors are, but while AMDís Bulldozer-derived architectures do underwhelm somewhat, theyíre not actually bad and certainly powerful enough for any modern task or game. At $100, the FX-6300 is an excellent alternative to Intelís clock-locked lineup. Power consumption does increase, but itís not as dramatic as youíve heard, and the performance is there.

Enthusiasts looking for something to extract performance out of below the price tag of Intelís Core i5-4670K and i5-4690K would do well to check out AMDís FX-6300.

Much better if you find that one out yourself right?
