@jim3:
Any PSU kung masira after 3-4 years OK na yun for my.
So far kasi Aerocool PSUs are yet to improve themselves pag-dating sa bagay na ito.

@mig

\"Huwag aabusuhin,\" period. Kasi meron pang salitang
\'sobra\' eh. As far as my systems are concerned, never ako nag-OC. Neither do I push my components to work beyond its operating parameters. Yung
MaQboard rig ko w/c I use for everyday computing, has an
FSP Aurum 600W psu, pero in reality ang power consumption nito would only be roughly
342W~392W. So around
50%~60% lang ang loading ng PSU ko. Optimal conditions nga kung tutuusin.
Ito pala yung specs:
MaQboard MQ-323
-Intel Xeon 3.4GHz Single Core
-Intel G41 & ICH7 chipsets
G.Skill RipjawsX 4GB DDR3 1600MHz
HIS HD7750 IceQ
Seagate 1TB, 500GB SATA + Seagate 40GB & IBM 40GB (2.5\") IDE
Yung gaming rig ko naman is equipped with a
Coolermaster Silent Pro Hybrid 1300W.
Specs:
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 960T 3.0GHz Black Edition
M/B: MSI 870A Fuzion
RAM: Kingston HyperX Lovo 8GB DDR3 1866MHz
GPU1: Powercolor HD6870 x2
GPU2: MSI HD7770 Power Edition OC
HDD: WD Green 1.5TB, WD Red 2TB, Hitachi 500GB, WD Caviar 250GB, Seagate 80GB (all SATA)
CPU cooler: Antec Kuhler 620
It will have a minimum of 18 case fans; 6 of those high speed Delta fans; pwera pa yung cold cathodes. Pero I opted to connect these to the secondary PSU which is independently connected to the mains. Generic PSU lang ito pero it does not really matter since hindi naman sensitive yung mga ikakabit kong parts (fans & lights). So kung ma-imagine mo, the fans can remain turned on kahit off na yung mismong PC.
namin..
Good for you sir. That is aside from the fact na yung ibang parts ko are very hard to find dito sa Pilipinas.
@nonsense91:
Gunggong yung sales guy ng pinagbilhan mo. Makabenta lang eh noh... Saan yan?

Seriously, if you can manage to have that PSU replaced with a different brand, do it.
Kung ako tatanungin there are better brands out there. Pero personal choices ko would be:
FSP
Seasonic
Silverstone

Joining this thread as an Aerocool Strike X 500W user since I bought this PSU way back 2011 and it's still running excellent. This was a few months before the have released the modular version to which I almost had replaced it with but decided not to. I just had to open the PSU cover atleast once a year for cleaning.
From my first Athlon x2's to the Phenom II x4 555 currently overclocked. It used to power my GTX 460, then up to the 560 Ti to the current 760, which is IMO the ceiling of what the processor can handle. I also use the system as an occassional torrent rig and overnight upstream transfers.
I just did an ampere reading an hour ago and got a continuous 460W AC from the wall under heavy system burn-in (should be around 370W DC), got around 11.5V and 3.2V drop but stil within the 5% tolerance level, and surprisingly, the system is stable even with an overclocked CPU.
