Gusto ko na Mag-GYM / Workout (2)

  • Lack of quality sleep:
    - will make losing fat very hard
    - will make gaining muscle very hard
    - will cause loss of muscle mass which results into reduction of strength
    - will make you feel weak in and out of the gym
    - will decrease your sex drive
    - will make your immune system weak
    - will make you look haggard


    nakakatakot naman.. haha

    para sakin yung sa tulog as long as may 5 hrs kang undisturb oks na yun kesa naman wala.

    tutal di naman tayo sasali sa bb comp/pl meet para maging hardcore 8hrs eh hindi naman natin trabaho maging bodybuilder/pl meet.

    gusto lang natin eh maging hipon este fit.. :D

    so ako kahit medyo sabit tulog basta may trabaho bilang call center, adik sa gym at nakakalamon oks na ko dun :D


    so another question, nag mamatter ba ang time ng tulog or mas nagmamatter ang length ng tulog?
  • question: malaking factor ba talaga pag laging puyat? nakakasira ba talaga to ng body built lalo na if my goal is bulking?

    May night shift ba ang work mo ? Ok naman ang matulog sa umaga kung night shift ang work mo. Usually naman ay monthly ang rotation. Makakapag-adjust ang katawan mo, Ang practical problem sa tulog sa umaga ay kung maingay ang mga kapitbahay mo

    Sa haba ng tulog, marami kang mababasa na conflicting information. May 7 hours, may 8 hours at may mababasa ka rin na 7 to 9 hours. May mga magasasabi rin sa'yo na ok lang din ang 5 to 6 hours base sa kanilang experience

    Kung gusto mo talaga malaman kung ano yung optimal sleep length para sa'yo, matulog ka at gumising ng walang alarm clock.

    Pagdating pala sa sleep, di yan strict mathematics. A 7-hour uninterrupted sleep is better than a 4+4 hours sleep or 3+5 hours sleep. Na experience ko yan dati nung may sleeping problem ako. Hihiga ako ng 10 PM, makakatulog ng bandang 11 PM tapos magigising ng bandang 2 AM to 3 AM. Makakatulog ako uli ng 4 AM to 5 AM. Gising ako uli ng 10 AM. Pag nag-add, I got 7 to 8 hours of sleep pero sabog ang pakiramdam ko. I don't feel refreshed in the morning


    Bakit mo ba natanong ang tungkol sa sleep ? May sleep problem ka ba ?
  • when it comes to soft drinks and juice eto medyo di ko pa totally mae-eliminate kasi napapalibutan ako nito (dealer kasi kami ng coke products lol)

    naku sir, yan talaga big contributor ng fats hehe kahit yung mga bottled fruit juice. mas maganda pa rin whole fruits talaga. sa soda naman, 1 can (355mL/12oz) is equivalent to more or less, 9 tsps of sugar. just imagine that. ni hindi nga kaya papakin yun ng normal na tao, or kahit ihalo sa isang basong tubig but that's how much equivalent sugar we consume anyway in a SINGLE can. :) this is not guilt/shaming, just want you to know what you're putting in your body, and the required equivalent effort to counter its effects.

    parehas sir. if you sleep during daytime (esp. call center employees), recommended ng doctors na i-simulate mo yung night darkness by using heavy/blackout curtains. in terms of length, tama, mas maganda pa rin talaga na "natural" sleep. yung kusa lang magigising katawan mo. but if you have to use an alarm, plan it in increments of 1.5 hours, because humans sleep in 90-minute cycles.

    wala naman. pero since may goal po kasi ako na magpalaki.. nagwoworry lang ako na ung sleeping habits ko e nagcocontradict sa goal ko kahit na nag woworkout ako at kumakain ng marami... notorious na puyatero kasi ko. ang work ko naman e consistent 830 to 530 (madals OT hanggang 7), pero naglalaro pako pag-uwi hanggang 12. usually 12 ako natutulog tapos gising ng 6. ganun. pero mahimbing naman.

    ask ko lang san ba may murang flat bench? starting pa lang ako magbuhat pero inisip ko na sa bahay nalang gawin dahil sa work.

    basta makatulog ako ng optimal ko na 4-5 hrs o 5-6 hrs na di ako naiistorbo okay na.

    problema lang pag nag shift na ng shift ko eh, medyo major adjustment na naman including lifting time..

    nonetheless.. i still workout, therapy na rin kasi ang pagbubuhat ng mabigat :D kesa naman magiinom araw araw o ibang bisyo :D
  • hi mga sir, may 24/7 kaya na gym near ortigas? mag sstart na kasi ako sa next job ko this coming feb. 13, mid-day shift yun kaya ang uwi ko ay gabi na talaga.
