Gusto ko na Mag-GYM / Workout (2)

  • may umiinom ba dito ng calcium tablet and colagen? as of now ininom ko fish oil, vitamic c, multivitamins.. pero balak ko dagdagan ng calcium for bones and colagen for joints..
  • instead of calcium sir yung inumin mo is Vitamin D3 plus K2.. ingat sa pag.inom ng calcium sir kasi it could cause calcification of arteries and calcium kidney stones. hth

    anong brand meron sir na ganun? yung medyo mura lang.. simula bata kasi umiinom naman ako gatas pero once per day lang.. dati bata hangang college sa breakfast.. pero after college, sa gabi na ako umiinom bnefore sleep.. iniisip ko lang baka kulang yung 250ml per day..
  • merong D3 and k2 yung NOW brand sir, meron din Doctor's Best brand. For purposes of body building/sports nutrition, take 20,000 IU everyday for 30 days then rest for 30 days. bale alternate months. hth.

    the body needs vitamin D to absorb calcium sir. (vitamin D is not a vitamin but a hormone) if we take vitamin D3 we alse NEED to take K2. Vitamin K2 activates the hormone osteocalcin which grabs calcium out of your blood and soft tissues and puts it in your bones. When our body is low on K2, the osteocalcin goes in reverse (which is bad)

    if budgeted tayo sir, our body can produce 10,000IU of Vitamin D if we expose our skin under the morning sun for approx. 20 mins, we can then get K2 from egg yolk, cheese, chicken liver etc. Do this and you will not have problems with calcium kasi maabsorb na ng katawan efficiently ang calcium sa mga kinakain natin (oats, cheese, milk etc) bottomline pa rin talaga is well balanced diet PLUS exposure sa sun. Another benefit of D3 is increase in muscle mass.

    Pasensya na mga sir, I'm not an expert and I did not mean to sound all-knowing gusto ko lang mag.share para makatulong. I got these info when I was researching Cancer.

  • Hi guys! I need your inputs po.

    History: January 2015 - I weigh 76 kilos.

    I have my own diet plan po made by my nutritionist. Yung diet ko is customized with my lifestyle. For weight loss nga pala yung diet ko. Magpapalit daw ako ng diet plan kapag nareach ko na yung recommended weight for my height (5'8" - 60 to 62kilos).

    I go to gym regularly as long as kaya ng katawan ko kasi malapit lang gym sa amin. 2 hours ang duration ng gym ko everyday which includes 30-minute cardio, stretchings, and puro equipments na. Hindi pa po ako nagbubuhat ng dumbels.

    As of this week, i now weigh 68.04kg / 150 lbs.

    Yes, naglolose ako pero problema ko na yung figure ko, malaki kasi yung bone structure (kaha) ko so parang pangit na siya tignan. Parang mas angat na yung sa may dibdib na part ko compared sa tummy ko kapag nakatayo ako. Tapos parang maliit 'daw' masyado yung arms ko sa katawan ko. Kumbaga parang hindi na proportional yung katawan ko.

    Tanong ko lang po kung may mali ba akong ginagawa? Yung program ko kasi sa gym ang sinusunod ko kasi preparation daw yun sa muscles ko for muscle toning. Normal lang ba na dapat weight loss muna tapos muscle toning after that?

    parang ang nangyayari sir, kahit sundan mo yung weight loss / muscle toning diet na binigay sayo wala din naman lalabas na muscle since hindi ka din naman nagbubuhat ng weights.

    ano po ba ang target nyo sir?

    muscle tone po sana sir. So it's safe to say na pwede ko na ihinto diet ko or ichange for maintenance tapos magbuhat buhat na ng weights sa gym? pang beginner kasi yung ginagawa ko doon sa gym.

  • grabe sir... ang bilis ng pagpapayat mo, hinay hinay lang po sa diet baka muscles na po yun naloloose mo. baka wala na po kayo ma-tone nyan na muscle. actually karamihan po satin ganun yung ginagawa, diet diet then exercise tapos pag sobrang payat na saka magseseryoso mag weights. as you go along naman po mare-realize nyo din yung mga mali nyo and dun po talaga kayo matututo heheheh. basa and research na lang po. Mostly proper diet and compound liftings po talaga to gain strength. sabi nyo nga po, di proportion ang results na nakukuha nyo ngayon and indi maganda tingnan... maybe its time to learn the basics of free weights.
  • Saan po kaya magandang bumili ng gym equipment na maganda quality. Gsuto ko sanang bumili ng adjustable bench and power rack. May contact Ako 22k raw.may mas mura pa kaya?
  • ano recommended nyo weight ng dumbells na pambahay lang? still doing HIIT, pero gusto ko sabayan ng bicep exercises sa umaga. mas defined na triceps ko kaka-pushup/floor exercises haha tsaka bicep routine na rin sirs kung meron kayo masu-suggest
