  ^ Mahirap yan kuys, alpha pa lang kasi yung kext for Intel wireless. Wala kasing linabas si Apple na Mac na merong Intel Wireless kaya ang nangyayari pinoport pa ng mga Hackintosh masters yung Intel wireless driver from Linux. Ngayon nalang nga ulit nagkaroon ng progress yan. Dati may attempt rin na gumawa around 2009-2010 kaso hindi rin naging stable yung project hanggang sa na-abandon na hehe.

  isa na lng kulang dito sa hackintosh ko kung paano ko mabubuhay ung rgb ng keyboard backlight hehe.

  @adonis827, bagong UI sir mukha na siyang iOS hehehe. more of aligning lang si apple ng product stack niya para consistent ang design language across all their platforms (iOS/iPadOS and macOS)

  Seamless OTA upgrade from Catalina to Big Sur! Just had to update my bootloader to the latest OpenCore version and the required kexts (Lilu, VirtualSMC, WhateverGreen etc) to their latest versions as well hehe. But to be sure, a clean install is recommended.

  They did it... M1 units on the loose!
  
  It would be the end of x86 macs/hacs.
  
  but since M1 is ARM... I wouldn't be surprise to see non-Apple ARM hacs :)

  that's i'm not sure, may be as long as it has the instruction sets, registers, etc. that macOS uses. i'm not really sure, i am not an engineer :(

  @newbie haha oo sana nga magkaroon ng ARM hackintosh scene pero parang malabo. Kunti kunti na nila ginagawang parang iOS yung macOS hahaha. Pero i'll give it at least 5 years for intel support sa dami ba naman ng Intel-based macs out in the wild hehe

  wala naman naging problema kaya lang ung mouse ko ang bagal kahit naadjust ko na sa system pref. g502 hero ung gamit ko, ayos naman siya pero hindi sing bilis ng sa windows. pwede kaya maayos to? salamat.

  hay nako sarap bumalik sa TPC,
  
  anyway, may issue ako sa legacy video patch ni chris111, baka may naka experience na sa iba at para na rin sa kaalaman ng hindi pa.
  
  gamit ku lang yung spare DELL N4050 i3 Intel HD 3000,
  
  wala akong issue sa EFI or whatever na affected yung bootup.
  
  Catalina or Mojave smooth install lang, sa Mojave ayus lang yung manual patching nung video drivers, sa Catalina naman, nasundan ko naman yung video sa git, pero sa kalagitnaan nag throw ng non-directory file blah blah,
  
  I will elaborate further with screenshots later if wala pa nakaka exeprience.
  
  After ng failed patch, macripple na system up to no choice but to reboot and then unbootable na.

  ^ sobrang unstable ng patch na yan. naka-ilang reinstall ako dahil dyan. kaya ni-let go ko na yun 2500k ko before, and pinalitan ko ng low watt i3-3225 (HD4000). ITX kse eto, and using picoPSU kaya discreet graphics is not an option. Supposedly, HD4000 support is upto Catalina only. Big Sur 11.0 still has the kexts for HD4000 but no one knows when it will be evicted since it (BS) was told not to support HD4000.
  
  kaso laptop yang sayo, though replaceable ang processors ng Sandy Bridge lappies - mukhang hindi naman supported ang Ivy processors.

  need ku lang talaga, kasi openGL support required nung app na gagamitin ko, audio is patchable kaya wala problem. wala kasi windows version yung app kaya napapahackintosh ako ngeon.
  
  gpu lang talaga, di naman ako maghahabol pa sa display patch support kundi lang talaga need nung app na gagamitin ko.
  
  Mojave Catalina both na iinstall ko sa laptop na 'to.
  
  uu nga pala ma add ku lang, yung mga usb3 hub with lan port, out of the box supported ng Mojave saka Catalina.

  yung app kasi nagsspike ng cpu utilization yung version na supported ng mojave, till magshudown ung laptop. Yung current version catalina yung required osx, kaya asaness ako sa improvement ng cpu util issue.

  Yup, still using my Hackintosh. Marami parin naka Hackintosh sir, hanggat may x86 builds parin ng macOS, buhay na buhay parin ang community hehe

  Mag Ryzentosh sana ko for IT research kaso found out hindi pwede virtualization? Planning to learn Kubernetes and Containerized apps since MacOS ang apps ng client ko and mukhang di uubra due to Ryzen.
  
  Any recommended build with recent parts? Preferably DDR5 build.
