IR test with d2h and Cokin p007 IR filter.

sensya na sa location, took this sa likod lang ng flat namin.. lol

Oks lang yan sir, hehehe! You have shown naman the IR effect e. hihihi!

@all masters of IR (jo3pit, jpgucci, edwinHCP... dami nyo di ko matandaan yung iba)
I want to try IR, but unfortunately, D200 is not that sensitive to IR. Would you know a work around on this? Or should I get another body for this? If so, what body aside from D70 should I get. 6MP lang kasi usually and D70 and I do a lot of tweaking so I will be needing higher than 6MP. Does D40x can do the job or D60 with the new sensor?

    Maraming salamat po!

  • @ sani,

capable po ng IR ang d200. medyo mahirap nga lang daw mag set ng cwb.

Thanks sa tip joepit. Do you think Hoya R72 attached in 18-55 kit lens should do the trick? Medyo mahal yung filter for 77mm kasi kaya try ko muna 52mm lang muna. Macro trip ka na nga pala ha. Sigma 150mm??? Love the shots bro.

    jpgutierrez18 on March 28, 2008 10:24 AM
why is 6mp not enough? what kind of tweaking do you normally do? unless you crop a lot on landscape shots, 6mp i think would suffice.

you can use any of the older nikon bodies as they have weak AA filters. newer nikon bodies are like canon nowadays, having strong aa filters so taking IR with fast shutter speeds is close to impossible without converting the body.

Thanks sa tip. I just found 6MP is not that big when cropped at 100% then have it printed 8x12. Yes insane, why should I crop it 100% if I want to blow it up for prints. It\'s just me, kinakapos lang siguro ko. Found it a bit blurred sometimes in prints. And of course, I don\'t want to just use it using IR. So I require at least 8MP or more. Looking at 30D of canon but I haven\'t justify it yet why should I handle dual system. Ang gulo ko no! Hahahaha!

Hey! By the way, welcome back bro!

  • does it matter?

ogre, nabuhay nanaman nonsense comment mo. does it matter? do u really need to ask that? Am I even talking with you? Is it even your pic I commented to?

Well probably because you just dont know anything bout PP at all. probably kaya it doesn\'t matter for you. Leilan knows at least extensive PP like I do, and he also commented my pic earlier bout my PP.

And by the way, Dragan style is suppose to be a compliment, its like saying \"hey ogre your shots looks like librodo style\" eventhough we know that will never happen since your pics are boring subjects na gasgas na sa paningin ng tao. lol
