\"Old\" thread but i must reply :
I just bougt the alpha brainwavz and they are very good (IMHO) and a bargain for the price.
They seem to be the exact copy (same ?) of the Vsonic VSR02 but in black.
Compared them to creative E630 on a sensa fuze, E630 are bass-heavy and mids/highs recessed (and bad compared to brainwavz...), brainwavz have a better bass-slam (not boomy) and far better mid/high (louder and cleaner).
On a DX-708 Onkyo cd player they were good too, not as good as my beyer dt880s but not so far and with the same sound signature.

Alpha is highly regarded sa mga TPC Audiophiles. Alpha na. I had the EP630 and i agree with the impressions. When i upgraded to CX-300-II, a whole new world opened up for me.

i just bought my cx-300II @ astroplus MOA for 2,500 petot!
@fullyloaded - parehas lang ba ang listening room sa listen up? nagpunta muna kasi ako sa glorietta to check kung may makikita pa akong ep630 pero kahit sa parksquare and the link, wala na talaga. nakita ko yung listen up sa 3rd floor yung katapat ng mercury drug, dun din ba yun? 2,500 padin ang benta nila kaso wala nang black, white and pink na lang yung natira kaya nagpunta ako ng moa.
sa mga stores na napuntahan ko, 2 lang ang merong cx-300ii, dun nga sa astroplus which is 2,500 and sa powermac center and ang price is 3,900. asa namang dun ako bibili so dun ako sa astroplus, at first mejo nagdadalawang isip ako kung genuine ba yun pero nung natry ko na, my jaw dropped!
compared to ep630 mas mabayo ang CX300, and mejo nabitin ako sa highs pero konting adjustment lang and okay na okay na. compared sa bass ng ep630 na more of a solid straight na bayo, etong sa CX300 parang deep na pagbayo and nagspread sya, di ko maexplain basta parang ganun! hehe!
kaya todo ingat ako kasi mahal! mejo manipis kasi cable nya compared sa EP630 pero mas preferred ko to kasi assymetrical

mga sir, advice naman. currently using creative ep-630 and sony ex-series canal phones on sony walkman pmp. sennheiser cx400 is just P1500 sa beeconomic. is it much an upgrade to my creative and ex series?

@badjawong - Pareho lang yung Listen Up at Listening Room. Isa lang ang may ari!
Almost 3 years na kong loyal sa EP-630 pero mas malinis ang tunog at bass ng CX300! Pansin ko ang difference. Yung bass nya tamang tama lang!
Pero super ingat ako dun sa CX300 ang mahal kasi! Hindi ko sya ginagamit sa gym kasi baka malagyan ng pawis.
TIP: Gamitin mo yung medium earbuds sa left at yung large naman sa right.. balanced ang tunog for me. Dapat fit na fit sa tenga mo para mararamdaman mo talaga ng husto ang bass nya.
Satisfied ako sa CX300!!!

Naghanap ako nung friday ng Creative EP630 sa SM Makati, Landmark, Glorietta, Greenbelt, Park Square wala lahat..
dati nakabili ako sa SM Appliance ngayon puro Philips lang ang tinda.. tapos parang ang daming fake na naglipanang earphone ngayon sa mall..
Share naman kayo kung saan pa may nabibiling Creative EP630?

i have a creative ep630 pero di ako satisfied. ano po ba ang mas maganda na pwede ko bilhin? budget ko po is 2k. plano ko sana bilhin yung cx500 ni meiroque na P1,900 kaya lang may nabasa ako thread na fake daw yun. i dont want to take the risk. thanks!

My EP-630 finally broke after 5.5 years... bought it in 2007 in Singapore. What a great pair of earbuds. Dala ko palagi pag nagcocommute, or pag solo ako sa coffee shop, para ma-isolate ko yung noise.
Buti na lang in production pa rin siya. I\'m going to buy a new pair.

Soundmagic ES20...cheap iem with an expensive sound quality comparable to iem 3-5x it\'s price...believe me...am using it with my Sony Walkman..i find all my music new & more enjoyable again..i\'ll bet you\'d feel the same with ES20 like i do...
