You should have it returned within 15days for their money back guarantee program.
Mostly all Customer Service - call center of a local company sucks. They\'re paid to listen to the complaints of their clients and then what next? they\'ll just answer \"spiels\" and 50/50 your concern will be addressed fully.
my worthless two cents... :)

i did the same thing as SweetJJ, returned the unit in SM manila and just paid the remaining bal in our bill. we had the saeebo unit (costs around 1500), we didnt pay the pre termination fee of 3k, but our 1500 went up in smoke.
we got our unit nov 27, 2007. from that time till dec maganda pa signal, mga sisters ko from abroad nakakatawag pa dun. then come jan hindi na talaga magamit, pati nga local pldt calls hindi na kaya. we texted bayantel about this pero sabi nila linya raw ng pldt may problema. hanggang pina cut na namin last mar 01 yun pa rin rason nila. haaayy nagwaldas lang kame ng pera!

Majority of BWL subscribers are postpaid.
Current problem is the \"dropped call\" - which is a network problem with regards to reception and etc. (Due to poor coverage i guess)
If indeed PLDT has been confirmed to \"cut\" your call in every 10min, i guess they have a limited resources specifically for their Landline+ to manage call congestion.
my two cents..

Im pretty satisfied with my bayantel wireless phone service.
95% percent of the time im out of the house and all over metro manila i get good signals and its been a lifesaver for me.
Yes when im passing by ayala\'s big buidings yep i get cutoff but since im doing busines in areas where there are no super tall buildings etc im pretty much satisfied.
Im aware of some area in metro manila where service may be bad but i knew when i got this phone that there will be areas where coverage isnt that good.
But i already expcted that since its wireless service.
Unlike my pldt wired landline which is unreliable when it rains or there is power blackout it loses its dialtone the pldt wired landline.
I did make a compromise but as i said 95% of the time its fully usable.
Im glad such a service came out.

go to your nearest BayanTel center. last time i checked (2 years ago) they accept, SIM capable phones only. not sure if they can reprogram CDMA phones without a SIM card slot.
