depende kasi sa data na nirerecover mo: for text data, easiest to recover, images, madali din dahil may automated software to recognize images but only 50% effective, most other binary encoded data, are impossible to recover.

Copied the files from the router to the usb connected sa huawei device.
Sinubukan ko kasi yung active partition recovery, sscan pa niya tapos more than 10 hours pa before matapos.

Guys, question on data recovery using these free softwares. Imgaine you have a 2TB partitioned in 4 identical sizes. They were Drives C, D, E and F. OS is on C. You accidentally formatted D, E and F. You now use recuva or any of those apps.
I know you should stop using the PC already for other things to avoid files being over written, among others, but does this issue apply only to drive C, where the OS is? In other words, is it ok to still use the PC while trying to recover files as long as the recovery is being done, in this case, only on drives D, E and F where it aint the OS partition?
Hope I was clear on my question.
Best,
