  • well yung last na linis ko, almost boiling, yung may konting bubbles na, so kailangan mittens para di ma paso habang nag shake rattle and roll...
  • muriatic acid kaya? ahihi..
  • epic fail yun..hihi
  • adobo?
  • haha, yung nagpakita na nilinisan niya rad niya gamit datu puti yung sachet ba yun? lol

ito yung sinasabi kong epic fail.

    @yelow

oks pa yan sir wag ka kabahan.
  • arbor na lang water setup mo yeow, palitan mo na lang brand new hehe :)
  • anong brand nun pump nya(yeow)? ganda kasi.
  • well yung current recommended is yung boiling/very warm distilled lang on most radiators ok na...

another thing we like to recommend is to try Prestone Radiator Flush, then rinse with warm distilled water... and rinse it good...
  • @yeow
  • ok na kahit hot water lang, much better wala na amoy yung vinegar tapos punasan mo ng maigi afterwards & much better balutin mo muna sya sa dry cloth & lagay mo muna sya sa room temp area madali yang magcorrode pag biglang moist kasi nahaluan na ng chemical e (vinegar)
  • i\'m not sure if you\'ve seen this, but this is how i clean my rad.

  • yeow_z on March 24, 2009 10:02 PM

  • ito orange uv by malik

  • @yeow

paps maganda parin yung yellow tubes...hehe
  • clear yata tubes nya then feser uv orange ang coolant
  • kakayanin ba ng mcp355 un loop ko? cpu, 2x 4870x2, 160.1 and 360 rads? or 2 loops talaga? since meron na ko 2 loops. sikip kasi kapag 2 loops

    bakit hindi?
  • kayang kaya nang pump mo
  • kayang kaya nang pump mo

i7 na yata si yeow_z. pag in-oc yon (and they\'re meant to be oc\'ed) malamang di na kaya. sobrang init ng i7 compared to his old quadcore.

two 355s in series baka pwede pa. or two loops para mas efficient but with the bigger rad on the i7 in fact (maybe that\'s just me :-).

dual loop ka dapat, nasa rad pa din kung gusto mo lumamig temps mo and of course ambient temps
  • just saw martin\'s liquid labs has a new site. his flow-rate estimator is here: <click here for link>. he doesn\'t have data for the 4870x2 blocks pero pwede sigurong i-extrapolate kung kaya pa ng pump o hindi.
  • martin has retired from testing stuff for Liquid Cooling...
that is just a mirror site.

yes most full cover blocks pwede mo extrapolate ang restriction.
generally kaya naman ng pump mag push ng water through the loop, yung pressure lang ang mag suffer pag sobrang daming blocks in 1 loop.

kaya yung sa iba na kasya naman 2 loops ang recommend, 1 cpu, 1 gpu.
  • pwede ba 2pumps in 1 loop? hehe

    pwede pero not recommended
  • 2 pumps same model(brand specs) in one loop? pwede ba? kulit ba?hehe
  • parang four seasons na dapat yan... konting red nalang needed... hehehe... nakakak uhaw nga...

eto temps ko at corei7 920 stock clock

using gtx black ice 480 single loop

  • @godjayson_23: temps look good on stock/idle. anong ambient/room temp niyan?

now try on load using 2-hours occt or prime95 firing all 8 cylinders and keeping core temp on (or better yet, using real temp so you can see min and max temps during the run).

then try the same on 4.0ghz and see what happens :-). Well maybe don\'t go 4.0 immediately. try 0.3 to 0.5 ghz increments (increasing voltages as needed of course) and monitor max temps. go to next level only if temps are not too high.

then try oc\'ing the vc\'s as well :D.
