guys tanong ko lang, nagkakaroon ba ng peklat o keloid ang pigsa kapag gumaling na? Kasi may pigsa ngayun yung dati kong classmate at sa muka pa siya nagkaroon. Nasa may kaliwang nuon niya. Ang concern lang niya is kung nagpepeklat ba ang pigsa?

Preparing for your appointment
By Mayo Clinic Staff
Although you\'re likely to see your family doctor or a general practitioner first, you may be referred to a specialist in skin diseases (dermatologist) or infectious diseases.
What you can do
Write down all your signs and symptoms and when they first occurred. Record how long the lesions lasted and if any recurred. Make a list of all medications — including vitamins, herbs and over-the-counter drugs — that you\'re taking. Even better, take the original bottles and a written list of the dosages and directions.
For boils and carbuncles, some basic questions to ask your doctor include:
Are tests needed to confirm the diagnosis?
What is the best course of action?
Is there a generic alternative to the medicine you\'re prescribing?
Can I wait to see if the condition goes away on its own?
What can I do to prevent the infection from spreading?
What skin care routine do you recommend while the condition heals?
What to expect from your doctor
Your doctor is likely to ask you a number of questions, such as:
What did the boil look like when it first started?
Are your symptoms painful?
Have you had a boil or carbuncle before?
Are you having fever or chills?
Do you have artificial heart valves, joints or other implanted devices?

utol ko may pigsa. nagpatingin na ng doctor (dermatologist). tinanggal na din ang nana and nadrain... pero ngayon, may konti konti pa lumalabas na nana and yung butas hinde pa nagsasara. may bukol din na matigas pero hinde masakit. inadvise siya mag antibiotic and hot compress. baket may bukol pa if nadrain na? diba dapat wala na?

saan banda yung bukol? kung matagal na yan bago na-drain baka may tract na sa loob. mabuti na yun na may lumalabas pa habang open pa yung butas para ma-drain completely. take the antibiotics. Observe for a week.

yung bukol is located malapit sa may sugat (or kung nasan yung mata where small amounts of nana coming out). actually, nagimprove siya after seeking dermatologist kasi nga madaming nadrain and wala ng pain at all ngayon unlike before na sobrang sakit and pagnaglakad, hinde derecho ang lakad... sa legs kasi yung pigsa. kaya ko din nasabe may nana pa kasi when we put gauze and pag papalitan na, may pakonti konti pa. and yes yung antibiotic (Clindamycin 300mg) that was prescribed, tuloy tuloy naman kinakain... in fact paubos na and mga 3 days na lang remaining kasi 3x a day.

basta kung ano sabihin ng doctor, gawin mo exactly...... no short cuts lalo na sa pag inom ng anti biotic.... pag sinabi 3 times a day straight for 7 days, dapat 3 times a day straight for 1 week.....
3 times a day mean every 8 hours..... dapat iinom ka na gamit exactly every 8 hours.... nothing more, nothing less.... pag binago mo ang pag inom ng anti biotic, baka di masyadong tumalab yan.....
pag sinabi 1 tablet every 6 hours for 1 week, kelangan 4 times ka uminom..... exactly every 6 hours.
