Streaming as low as Php 99 a month
Yesterday we officially attended the launch of streaming service site iFlix here in the Philippines. iFlix, if you don’t know, is an ASEAN version of Netflix, allowing users to easily stream movies and TV series from around the world right to their own home. We were fortunate enough to test out the service before it officially launched yesterday and all we can say is that it really does bring great value for money, especially when you’re a Smart subscriber, since you only have to pay Php 99 a month for the service. iFlix’s studio partners include industry heavyweights like Fox, Warner Brothers and Disney, and the company is looking to make additional partnerships with production houses in Asia to offer original content.
iFlix is available in both Android and iOS, and up to 5 devices can use a single account. The service can also be streamed through PCs and notebooks. It’s available as an add-on to PLDT Home services including Ultera, MyDSL and more, as well as an add-on to your existing post-paid plan. Prepaid subscribers of Smart can avail of the service via a deduction in their pre-paid load.
