Not sure if this is categorized as overclocking/hardware or software issue. But here goes nothing..

Laptop Model: MSI CX61
Problem: Temperature @ 60 degrees celsius (when idle). When running a game (i.e. Ragnarok), sometimes the temperature reaches 100 degrees and kills my laptop.
Objective: To reduce temperature
Current State:
1. Newly-formatted (to ensure that it\'s not a software issue)
2. Just had a maintenance 3 months ago (re-added thermal paste / removes dust and debris inside the laptop)
3. With external cooling pad
Actions taken:
1. Tried SpeedFan/MSI Fan Toggle/MSI Afterburner and nothing worked.
Anything else that I missed? Please advise.
