  • might be overheating
  • @kerv1n - sir, actually may cool pad nako and dedicated fan na naka tapat sa laptop pag ginagamit ko eh. ganon parin ang problema. any solutions or ano kaya ung possible problem nya?
  • anu specs nung laptop mo sir? saka me timeline ba kung san sya banda nag re-restart? I mean kung me inopen ka ba na application or mga ganun?
  • CPU
    Intel Celeron T3500 / 2.1 GHz
    Number of Cores
    Dual-Core
    Cache
    L2 - 1 MB

@mico0 > wala naman pong specific time sya nag rerestart, actually intermitent yung pag restart nung laptop ko sir eh. actually, ung mga apps ko naman is ung normal app na gngmit ko before. pero ngayon lang tlga sya nagka ganito.
  • 1) Use monitoring software like HWMonitor, Open Hardware Monitor, etc. to check your temps. If the idle temps are over 50c and rise quickly to over 80c when the CPU loaded, then it\'s overheating.

In that case, you need to open up your laptop and remove the heatsink so that you\'ll be able to remove the dust and dirt that\'s clogging the cooling fins. It\'s also very likely that the thermal paste has dried up, so you need to remove it as well, and apply new paste.

    2. If your laptop\'s battery is already dead and you\'re depending entirely on your AC adapter for power, then the issue might be on the adapter itself. Either it\'s unable to provide enough power to the laptop, or there\'s a problem in the cable or connector-- yung tipong pag nasagi mo yung adapter o yung kable ng kaunti eh mamamatay bigla yung laptop.
Makikita mo lang yun through bios or monitoring software like hwmonitor, it is measured in celcius not %. Kahit kasi tapatan mo ng aircon yan kung clogged mga copper fins sa loob ska tuyo ng yung thermal compund mag overheat pa din yan. Another possible cause eh memory problem. Isa isahin mo hanggang maisolate mo yung problem.
  • @jammn54
    Exactly.
  • @jammm54 > gets boss. maraming salamat sa tulong, icchek ko lahat ng possible problems para maresolve agad. i\'ll keep you updated po. thx din po sir @awakeruze :)
