How to tell if 100% authentic your UTP cable from a FAKE one?

  Mga sirs good day,
  
  How can I say or tell in just a look kung peke or original si UTP? Kasi bibili po kami ng 10 boxes ang hirap kasi malaman in a look lang si UTP.. Dapat e test mo sya like crimping RJ45 to one end to another and plug sa pc to switch hub para malaman na peke..

  buy belden brand. sure na hindi fake yun

  if paranoid ka. get/borrow a copper tester (i.e. HST3000C, very expensive), end to end testing ng cable yun. it will check yung quality ng copper sa loob.
  
  an alternative is to buy from a reputable shop not a fly-by-night vendors.

  magdala ka ng magnet....ang alam ko yung mga fake eh nanamagnet (per wire) yung alteast 4 wire out of 8.

  cable tester lang makakasabi nyan, if the cable manufacturer also share the technical specs ng wire, you can use that to compare.
  
  cable tester is not as simple as cable tester you use to test LAN cables na ilaw lang ang basehan, a real cable tester can measure line quality of the cable and many more techincal tests.
  
  if you were expecting that meron man lang at least diference between the physical appearance, unfortunately wala, magaling ang China dyan pag dating sa imitation, you probably know that already.
