No signal on screen after powering my system

  • When i turned my system\'s power on, my computer is starting but having problems getting signal on the screen. Have tried some troubleshooting below:

    1) reset the CMOS, but got not luck.
    2) removed the graphics card and used on board graphics, got no luck
    also.
    3) removing the power cord and pressingg the power button for 30 secs to release capacitors, still no luck.

Seems like my graphics card is working since the fan is on. I have reseated my rams also. Power supply is working, i dont know if this is a mobo related prob. Checked the cable of my vid card to monitor, and found some rat bites, but im not really sure if this is the cause.

Hoope you can help me, thanks!
  • can you get to BIOS setup screen?

if no then its most likely a hardware failure. Try a different PSU
  • Nope i can\'t. but it seems my system is booting. Will try to replace the cable later tho.
  • remove the rams, then turn on, if it beeps meaning your board is alive (mostly) if it doesnt, its either your mobo or your processor is defect.
  • yun nga lang bihira masira ang procie ..malamang mobo.. :(
