Newbie here.... hindi ba talaga kaya ng true rated 500 watts PSU ang Radeon hd 7750 1gb ddr5?
Processor: intel or core 2 quad 8200 2.33Ghz
Memory : 4 X 1gb memory Ram
GPU : Radeon HD 7750 1GB DDR5
HDD : 500 GB Seagate 5400 RPM

A board that old is bound to have bloated capacitors. If the bloated capacitor is part of the circuit that supplies power to the PCIe x16 slot, then you\'ll have problems. -
oki antay lang pa ako sa iba.... ngayon lang nadagdag sa akin yung motherboard.... ang problem ko kasi talaga is the monitor is entering power save mode.... may mga nabasa lang din kasi ako pwedeng PSU or yung vid card ang may problema.... nag susurvey pa ako ng mga sagot. salamat pa din sa mga sagot at opinion niyo (y)

pag naka direct ba sa motherboard ang videocable ng p-power saving mode pa din?
ano po ba os mo? wala bang kinalaman ang power saving mode ng software mo?
gaano na katanda ang psu mo? na try mo na ibang supply?

yes, tried re-seating, tried 2 properly working monitors (Samsung and AOC Brand) the current video card im using right now is the stock video card (radeon 3450 256mb) yung PSU is coolmaster 500 watts observing din kung pipitik yung monitor.... 3 days na pero walang power save mode pa naman....

PSU at Vid card same day binili July 13, 2012, sinumpong ng save mode last year 2014.... yung sa power options naman na off ko na. OS is windows 7 Home Prem 64-bit.... pag naka direct sa motherboard yung cable, hindi nag popower save mode

It\'s possible din na ang monitor may problema. How old is your monitor and what brand and model is it? Dati kasi meron akong lumang Viewsonic LCD monitor na ganiyan din ang problem. Ang issue is mag black screen siya pero yung power button naka orange LED or in standby mode. Madalas mangyari ito when gamit ko ang DVI connection. Usually nangyayari ito kapag totally powered off ang PC or kapag ni turn-off ko ang monitor while the PC is on. I thought problem ito with power-saving mode at yung monitor hindi na nag wake-up from power-saving mode, pero hindi naman.
Nung nilipat ko ang connection to VGA or D-Sub nagiging ok naman ang monitor but analog lang ang signal and medyo hindi sharp ang screen. After some research I noticed na may issue ang DVI connection with the Viewsonic monitor I have:

Kung ang monitor mo may D-Sub, DVI or HDMI connection try mo gumamit ng ibang connection and ibang cable. Baka hindi related ang issue but it\'s worth a try. -

Sir pa help naman po. May Hec raptor 500 watts ako bought it 2009 I\'m using it for 6 years and its on good operational condition. Nagpalit kasi ako ng video card Sapphire HD 7970 3gb OC with boost ang kailangan na pin nung card is 2 na 8 pin power cable or connector. ang ginawa ko yung MOLEX na 8 PIN na kasama nung Video card ginamit ko tapos from may hec raptor 500 watts yung 6 pin. Bali 8 PIN saka 6PIN power cable yung gamit ko nung una to power the Sapphire HD 7970 3gb oc with boost. nung gnagamit ko yung card for gaming may times na nagugulo yung picture then after few seconds ok naman na. Ang sabi sa akin ng pinagbilhan ko baka daw nasira nung ginamitan ko ng 8PIN + 6Pin power cable and ng HEC raptor 500 watts yung video card?! may basehan po ba ito? pa help naman po. SALAMAT TPC.
