magtatanong lang po ako, weird problem ng pldt modem namin (using speedsurf default modem bigay ng pldt).
pag-gagamit kami ng wifi sa phone, nawawalan ng net eventually after gamitin mga ilang minutes (unable to connect yung error ng chrome pero connected sa wifi) dati hindi naman ganito ito.
concern ko rin medyo dumami na rin kasi naka connect sa wifi namin from 3 naging 5.
Is this a settings issue? or may topak na yung router?
para maayos pala ulit yung connection sa phone namin forget network muna namin sa phone tapos connect again, tapos gagana na ulit yun ng ilang minutes until hindi nanaman kaya magbrowse ng internet.
please help. . . 24/7 pala yung router saka around 1 year+ na cya.
do i need to buy a new modem-router na? papayag ba pldt nun? standard naman ata pldt Adsl2+(kabasa ko lang sa wiki)?

lots of possibilities:
Ang most possible issue is that your wifi router is dying and is not releasing ports making it congested when assigning connections. While having problems with the internet, trying surfing to the WIFI router\'s setup (IP address ng router) and kung you can see the WIFI router\'s setup screen, check the logs kung may mga unreleased services/connections...
BTW, ano ba ang default user name/password sa ADSL WIFI router ng PLDT? -
ttry ko nga iyan, what will happen if i see unreleased services/connections? rerelease ko?
so the best way tlga is to buy a new router instead? will it work naman?

Bulok ang WIFI router that comes with PLDT MyDSL. Cheapo routers tend to die within a couple of months like it. Most often it\'s because it retains UDP/TCP ports in memory and it becomes full after long usage. You can try resetting the router to default settings, but eventually when you get more and more devices connected (cell, pc, tablet) gagapang ulit yan... best way is to turn off the router or just turn off wifi and use a different router with the PLDT Modem.
