PLDT My DSL Network Problems as of August 2014

  Hi. i\'m from pampanga and since this august of 2014 we\'re experiencing frequent disconnection but consistent connection of 3mbs..
  
  almost 5 years PLDT subscriber kami. and last 2014 lang we\'ve upgraded to plan 1,600.. @ 3mbps and no data capping, the 1st month was awesome. the connection is reaching up to 5mbs of download on torrent.. because parang promo raw nila yun kasi ng avail kami ng ganun..
  
  then after a month yun hangang August, 3mbs consistent connection..
  
  and this August 2014, nag umpisa ng nagloko ang DSL.. ung 3mbs na consitent connection.. naging 10mins consistent connection nalang.. makaka pag connect ka ng 10mins then ma didisconnect ng 1-2hrs, 3-5 and sometimes the whole day!!
  
  Pinalitan namin ung modem, inayus ang mga cable wires, we even re route to different telephone lines and kahit 10 times na kaming nag report sa call centre or customer support ng DSL.. wala pa din.. disconnection every 10-20 mins
  
  what I notice is this... pag na disconnect yung internet,, gagawin ko lang ay.. aalisin ang saksak ng modem tapos babalik ulit! then BAM! meron na ulit.. tapos disconnection after 10-20 mins na nmn. tapos alis saksak tapos balik ulit..
  
  indi ko alam bat ganun.. pero one\'s thing for sure.. ung DSL ang problema, wala sa amin, wala sa cable or hardware kundi sa ISP!
  
  we\'ll.. hangang ngayun mag one one month na nmin ginagwa ang method na to.. my theory is that PLDT is limiting our bandwidth, un bang pag na receive mo na ung certain bytes of data ma didisconnect ka nlang.. kasi when I\'m at home I\'m downloading 1gb/hr of data
  
  at hindi totoo ang 3mbps no data capping.. speedtest.net? natural sa PLDT ung pinagkukuhanan mo ng connection kaya laging 3,5, or 8mbs. kc kontrolado nila yun..
  
  to try your connection. mag download ka ng 3 torrent. and normally mag hahati hati ang connection.. adding all download speed by bytes dapat. mag aadd up up to 3mbs or atleast 2mbs... at kahit minsan wala akong nakitang 3/mbs na download sa plan namin. kahit kurap wala.. usually 400-500kbs lang lagi.. same with plan 999.. feel ko nga mas magnda pa plan 999 namin dati
  
  
  nakaka stress lang kaya pinapapabayaan nalang namin, pero pag nagkatime ako na magpunta sa PLDT main office talagang magrereklamo ako ng todong todo :-p

  Check tte dsl light on modem, if it blinks or nawala yung dsl light that means theres a issue on your line, not inside house but outside. And that requires technical assitance from lineman, they might resort rewiring your line outside.

  No issues whatsoever with pldt dsl. Mula 2010 ng pinakabit namin dito sa bahay namin sa san pedro laguna parang isang beses lang nawalan ng connection na bumalik din naman agad. Walang interminent connection. Pag dns problem, palit lang ng dns ok na. Nung time na nagthrottle sa torrent ok lang kasi hindi naman nakasalalay ang buhay ko sa torrent. ngayon normal naman ang lahat. Depende din siguro sa location.
