Ayaw na rin sa prolink ng root access. Ngayon lang. Di ko na rin magawang paganahin yung steps na sinasabi sa prolink thread.

ayaw na din sa akin! tried resetting the modem pero yong nag work lang is yung default admin/admin.
i called pldt ayon sabi nila is mag didispatch daw ng tech! malamang pagbabayarin na naman ako ng modem.

mga sirs... any idea how to reset the password and username for the Baudtec ?
sinubukan ko i-press and hold yung reset button parang yung settings lang ng modem na rereset at hindi yung password
tried the adminpldt/1234567890 credentials pero no good
di ko tuloyy ma reset password ng wifi :/

If the Wifi SSID/password reverted to stock then yes your hard reset worked.
The problem is PLDT probably updated your PLDT firmware so you won't get access to adminpldt because they don't want you to.

so there's no way I can get in anymore? yikes wanted to change the wifi password, paano na yun :/

for some reason, tried the username admin and the password 1234 and it worked!
yun nga lang disabled na yung other options, but I was still able to change my wifi password and setup mac addresses

Yes admin should still work.
Seems your baudtech has already been remotely updated to locked firmare.

nasira ang switch ng baudtec dsl modem namin.
updated na rin ang firmware nito, kaya di na rin mapasok ang adminpldt na root user.
Nung napalitan na ng bago, na same model, sabi ng "tech" na di naman daw napalitan ang password (malamang sa stock modem, na di pa nagagamit).
Hooked up modem, tried adminpldt|1234567890, and it worked!!!
admin|1234, also worked.
When I entered the root user, the firts thing I did was to create another root user (which I also did with the old, defective modem).
And sure enough, after a week, adminpldt was inaccessible.
Take note that I changed passwords for both adminpldt and admin before the supposed firmware update that made adminpldt inaccessible.
I needed root access for configuring wifi access control white list to prevent unauthorized wifi connections.

actually, naka hidden at naka-activate kasi sa pldt firmware yun TR069 feature para ma remote access ni pldt yun pag update ng firmware ng modem, so kahit ilang root admin pa yun gagawin mo ay mao-override pa rin nila

hopefully, yung root account na adminpldt lang ang i-block nila. So far, oks pa naman yung root accnt na ginawa ko. Yun nga lang, kada-login, parang initial setup ng accnt na naghihingi ng bagong password.

once na makuha nyo yung password para sa adminpldt. Gumawa na kayo ng bagong account with root level kasi after ibigay syo ni PLDT... a few weeks lang mawawala na yung password...
may pldt tech pumunta sa kapitbahay namin tapos kaunting chat kay neighbor... yung password na binigay sa kanya na ginamit ko rin ay nawala a few weeks... buti nalang nakagawa ako ng bagong user account...

baka palit PLDT modem/router na lang talaga solusyon kung talagang di na mapasok ang adminpldt.
Gawan nyo na lang ng rason na sira, e.g.: nagloloko internet kapag umiinit, random disco, etc...
In my case, bago yung ipinalit. Kaya siguro stock pa rin yung settings at adminpldt.
Then, create na lang kayo ng sariling nyong root accnt sa Maintenance>Password.

Gumana yung URL at user/pass na sinabi niyo. Immediately created several root accounts sana lang hindi sila mabura. Thank you sir!

Hindi na gumagana, baka meron po kayong ibang method para ma-access yung root admin.

Anyone may access kung san makakakuha ng stock firmware ng baudtec, yung hindi po pldt firmware.

Gusto ko rin malaman kung san may firmware nung baudtec. Wala sa site nila yung model nung sa pldt eh
