Definitely not. The E5-1650V2 performs just a teeny bit slower than an i7-4690X IV-E due to its 100MHz slower clock speed. Even a highly-overclocked i7-4790K will still be slower than an E5-1650V2 in heavily-multithreaded apps. I\'d take 6 sub-4GHz cores with HT over 4 4.4+GHz cores with HT anytime. :)

Throttling will start to occur at around 95-100deg C so yan talaga ang danger zone. Kung laging pumapalo ng 90+deg yung temps ng CPU mo, bitin yung cooler or sobrang taas ng Vcore na gamit with your OC.
Ang general consensus is oks yung temps kung kayang i-maintain sa 70s or below yung max temps while running CPU-intensive tasks (encoding videos, stress tests other than Prime95, etc.). Pag ganyan yung temps mo under say, Handbrake, Aida64 or Intel XTU, malamang nasa 50s lang when gaming. Ayos na ayos na yan.
Naka-OC ba yung CPU mo? If yes, manual or auto? Ano yung frequency and Vcore?

yup nka oc ako ng onti lang...4.5Mhgz sa 1.24 core voltage... idle is 38c, sa gaming, 3D rendering at video encoding nsa below 70c ako, sa IBT na nka maximum mem @10x runs, nsa 81c max ko, pero nag sstay xa sa 78c... with NH D-14 yan...
i tried the different methods ng pag aaply ng thermal paste.. from pea. method, yung spread method using hard plastic, at yung pinaka effective yung X method... hehehe... mas lumamig siya ng 3-5c... :)

not really. i\'m saying from experience here. i got core2quad and the lowest denominator is my HDD which has still a score of 5.9 in windows kahit upgraded na ako. pag-boot up to running mode, to internet, there\'s not really any difference than my q8200. i still need to upgrade VC + SSD para maramdaman difference :( although one exciting thing is: nakakapaglaro na ako ng SC2:HoTS on mid settings :)

i7-4790 lang sa akin, hindi DC. Pero based sa mga temps na nakikita ko sa mga reviews and user reports online, oks na nga yung temps ng CPU mo, especially since mainit talaga dito sa atin, hehe.. :-)

o nga sir iee... yun yung isa sa mga reason kya cguro hindi ko maatain yung baba ng temp nila kasi nga naman iba ang klima sa bansa nila... hehehe... tsaka base din sa mga reviews mainitin daw tlga ulo ni haswell kumpara sa isang kong jowa na i7 ivy, salamat master Helly... :)
