[TUT] Buy Cheap US PSN Codes from Amazon using GCASH AMEX

  I\'ve read issues here about some players not being able to access the US PlayStation Store because of the lack of a US address. Other players can\'t buy US PSN codes because its too expensive at Datablitz or it\'s a hassle going to their shops. I dunno if you\'ve heard about it, but Globe\'s GCASH AMEX virtual card is compatible with US PSN use. It\'s easy to get too. Here\'s a quick guide if you\'re interested (and if you have a Globe SIM)
  
  1. Dial *143# on your phone
  
  2. Go to #8 GCASH and #1 Register. Follow the remaining prompts. You now have a GCASH account. We\'re after a GCASH AMEX virtual card. They\'re two different services.
  
  3. To get a GCASH AMEX virtual card, go to a Globe store or a partner establishment to get KYC\'d (Know Your Customer, stuff required by the Bangko Sentral apparently). It\'s free, but you need at least P50 on your GCASH account for virtual card verification and a valid ID. The P50-ish amount will be returned within 2-3 days.
  
  Note: You can put load into your GCASH AMEX account by visiting Globe stores and depositing money with them. It\'s free.
  
  4. Now, after your successful verification, dial *143# again and go to #8 GCASH and look for the GCASH AMEX Virtual Pay section. Select Sign Up and follow the remaining prompts. You should now have your GCASH AMEX virtual card and a free subscription (including a US address and telephone number) to my-shoppingbox.com (more on this later). This is what you\'ll use to sign up for the US PSN.
  
  
  
  
  5. Check the my-shoppingbox.com email at your inbox and use the credentials indicated to log in at my-shoppingbox.com (once you create a GCASH AMEX account you\'re automatically enrolled to this service, no need to create a new one). Go to your dashboard and fill in the necessary details. Lastly, fetch your US address and telephone number. The US address is unique only to you.
  
  6. Go to Amazon.com and register an account/open your existing account. Go to Add Debit/Credit Card > Add Payment Method > Add Card. Fill your GCASH AMEX card number there
  
  7. Go to Settings > Address > Add New Address and add your US address and telephone number there (provided by MSB)
  
  8. Shop and buy the US PSN code denomination you want ($10, $20, $50). You can also buy a PS Plus subscription here.
  
  
  
  
  9. Upon checkout, check that your card number (GCASH AMEX) and billing address (US address) are correct then place your order
  
  10. After placing your order, you will receive a digital code from Amazon in your Amazon account and your registered email address. Your GCASH AMEX balance will also be deducted accordingly.

  Sir, pag kumuha ka ng GCASH AMEX account, may free US address ka na sa my-shoppingbox.com website, tapos yun yung gagamitin mo sa Amazon na shipping at billing address mo. :)

  So, share ko lang. I bought a $20 US PSN code from Amazon using my GCASH AMEX kasi may nagsale na game recently (Toukiden), and because $3 nalang yung laman ng PSN wallet ko. I suggest to local US-registered PlayStation players na kung bibili kayo ng US PSN code, use this method nalang. I saved a few hundred pesos sa pagbili instead na bumili ako sa Datablitz.   Actually sir, pwede din talaga ito sa Steam, yun nga lang need nyo muna ilink sa PayPal nyo para gumana. Kasi pag sa Steam nyo direkta nilagay nag-eerror. Ayaw tanggapin.

  Three reasons lang po ito sir:
  
  1 Walang balance yung GCASH AMEX account nyo
  2 Expired na yung GCASH AMEX subscription nyo
  3 Down yung system ng GCASH AMEX
  
  Palagay ko sir dun kayo sa #3. Baka down lang yung system nila nung nag-eenroll ka ng account mo. Try nyo nalang ulit. Post lang kayo kung nagpepersist pa, solve naitn.

  bakit nung bumili ako ng PS plus sa amazon hindi naman na ako gumamit ng GCASH AMEX. Philippine issued credit card na agad ginamit ko tapos binigyan na ako ng code for ps plus subscription. hindi ko maalala kung hiningan ako ng us billing address ng amazon, pero kung hiningan ako nag-imbento lang ako ng address. kung pwede sa ps plus code na CC lang gamit (no GCASH AMEX) sa amazon, hindi ba pwede na ganon din sa psn code for PSN wallet?

  Hindi ko sure sir kung bakit nagkaganun yung sa inyo, pero dun sa address kasi nakatali sa billing info nyo yun, pag pinasok nyo Philippine CC tapos nagcross check yung Amazon system dun sa address na nilagay nyo eh US address hindi tatanggapin yun for sure.
  
  Ang maganda din dito sir para sa mga kapwa players nating walang credit card o hindi pa nakakakuha. Within a day may GCASH AMEX ka na. Pag kukuha ka ng credit card swerte na yung 2wks waiting time.

  PANO PO PALA KUNG HONGKONG ANG COUNTRY NA NAKALAGAY SA PSN ACCOUNT? KASI HONGKONG PO ANG ANG NAKALAGAY SA PSN ACCOUNT KO... NDI KO ALAM KUNG TATANGGAPIN UNG CODE KUNG SAKALING MAKABILI AQ SA AMAZON? PLS REPLY
