need belp regarding rechargable batts..

  • hi...

meron akong AA akira for my camera.. 2800mAh yta, 14hrs charge time.. unfortunately nawala ung charger n kasama... bumili me ng AAA energizer for my wireless mouse.. 900mAh yta, 10 hrs charging time..

question., may formula ba na pwede kong gamitin para ma-full. charge ko ung akira using the energizer charger.?

    thanks po..

-- can't tell you the output of EGizer charger kase asa work po..

  • Don't be so scientific, just charge it about 12 hrs or overnight which ever is best for you.

  • ok naman ung akira na nabili ko.. recommended din kase sa fujifilm finepix thread and i do own a finepix.. been using it on that camera for almost 2 yrs now.. ung charger ng energizer., kasya rin yung AA..

    @the other guy

  • hindi po auto-off (as i know) yung charger so i don't want to risk damaging my batteries..
  • the wost thing you can do to your batteries is charge it aimlessly. do not at all cost overcharge your batteries since it may leak and explode. compute the charging power of your battery against your rechargeable batteries.

    example:
    battery capacity = 2500mA
    battery charger = 500mAh

total charging time = battery capacity / battery charger mAh
    total charging time = 2500mA / 500mAh
total charging time = 5 hours

you can avoid all this nonesense computation if you buy a smart charger XD

meron formula, take note of the example posted above. Pero you really can't be sure with those numbers alone. madami pang factors like current voltage rating before charging, efficiency ng charger, etc.

if you want to charge your batteries with your current charger, i suggest bumili ka na rin ng multimeter tester para pwede mo i-test yung voltage ng batteries mo. example. a AA nimh battery rated at 1.2v would be fully charged at 1.4v. so kung nagcharge ka at nag reach na ng 1.4v, it's safe to say na fully charged na yan.

    next question..
balak ko na rin kase bumili ng bagong set na may kasamang charger.. i'm thinking of eneloop XX na may kasamang MQR06 na charger...
smart charger po ba yun..? kelangan bang pares ang i-charge or kahit odd number of batts..?

    salamat po...
