Best SSD for performance and Warranty Services in the Philippines

    Hi fellow TPC'ers!

    I am planning to buy an SSD, what can you recommend in terms of performance to price ratio and the brands ease of warranty claiming sa Distributor or sa Supplier. Do we have SSD warranties here in the Philippines for Intel, OCZ, Patriot, GSkill and SanDisk?

    Kasi ang nakikita ko lang na RMA services is for HDD lang for samsung, Maxtor and Western Digitial.

    Yung sa Intel, kahit sa ibang bansa nyo binili pwede nyo pa RMA directly sa kanila. Basta pag sabi ng tech support nila na may hardware fault, sila magbayayad sa pagpapadala sa supply center nila at pagpapadala ng replacement unit sa inyo.

    I\'ve done a bit (actually a lot) of research on the performance of most available SSDs here sa TPC. Nalaman ko na, from a price/performance level, best buy talaga yung 335 ng Intel. Most are more expensive per GB (some of which perform worse in benchmarks) while the rest are cheaper but much lower performing.

    Am trying to save up on the 240GB version myself. Sana maganda pa rin yung mga deal by then.

    1. Guys, san kaya nakakabili ng crucial ssd 500gb? Yun po ba yung pinakamagandang brand na sulit for the price?
    1. Saka paano ko malalaman kung what type of SSD yung bibilhin ko (Msata, M.2, sataIII)?
    2. And also, paano ko po malalaman kung compatible yung laptop ko to use ssd? My laptop is Dell Inspiron i5547 with i7 dual core.
    3. And also, after ko makabili ng SSD, possible ba na ilipat lahat lahat ng files ko (including OS installation) to SSD? Ayaw ko na kasi mag install ng bagong OS at mga applications hehe.
    4. Mas makakamura po ba pag bumili online like amazon?

    opinion on uv400 and enlighten me on SSD warranties pls
