yes it's hackintosh;
best price i found was PHP26.5k [i3 version] sa pcgadgets -but of course dun ka dapat sa pinakamalapit na store kahit hindi pcgadgets.
the x202e for the same core is 23.5K afaik

Thanks, mate. Is that cash price or installment?
Also, how long mo na nagagamit ang hackintosh on s400? Any issues so far?
hmm issues if in sense some hardware will not work?
well that's inherent with hackintoshing a laptop. so depends on your method of install.
and available kexts.
- i still have to work out the sound out via speakers [seems the mic works though]
- i use cdrking wifi to get around wifi access since i am lazy taking out the atheros wifi inside. =D
- i boot via usb since clover requires you to tinker with the default boot partition and i dont want to do that now.
- trackpad works via Elan kext - but not multitouch though but still usable.
- touchscreen, not interested to use but you can use touchbase afaik
- app store worked immediately
- camera works default (but somehow cant log to facetime)
- i still have to fix the battery management since i dont know what its batt status in % is
it has not crashed on me yet to give it some justice even with its current imperfection.
Sounds good. Can it be deployed using dual boot? (Win8/hackintosh)? Also, what's the storage requirements of mountain lion? Sorry daming tanong. Hehehe
yes dual boo via cloverboot only. did a test using easybcd but cant make it work. that will make the bootloader within the hdd boot partition, doable definitely but im not doing it since the process will take time for me one i make a mistake.
ML/Mav i've read 60GB (which is what i did too) is a good start, that's consistent size with the standard SSD for a real macbook air.
there i a tonymacx86 member harry253 who wrote a guide specifically for X202 but works with S400ca as well.
Nice.. Thinking to boot it with sd card. Can you check in BIOS if S400 can boot via sd card?
no until you load SD card which i dont have right now.
@all, has anyone replaced their battery? If so how much? I used to own a eeepc 1005ha and it costs 7k for a new battery. TIA
@All owners of X202E/S400ca
are you charging your batteries 100%. i have been reading lately that you get better life expectancy if you charge Li-poly batteries only up to 70% and dramatically increases the number of discharge cycles. anyone here with his asus x202e having issues on this matter? i have been following this approach since i read it. =D
i don't monitor my battery charging. as long as there is AC power available, i plug my notebook and that's about it. i like to keep things simple.
Mga bossing tanong ko lang po kung anong games ang kaya nito? Yung celeron version po.. Kaya ba nito mga 2008 games? Salamat po! :)
there is someone in youtube able to document this.
i was surprised with it so had to buy it for general purpose/non-graphics heavy gaming.
Good evening mga bossing.
I have the x202e Core i3 version. May bluetooth po dapat ito diba? Pero nung nag-fresh install ako ng Windows 8.1, parang nawala. Pano po ba malalaman kung anong bluetooth driver ang kailangan i-download? TIA!
has anyone tested starcraft 2 on the Asus X202E or S400CA?
