  • UP thanks
  • Up thanks
  • ako lenovo with nvidia 640M
  • Essentially the same specs. I'll go with the Asus on the basis of hard disk space.
Wla pa rn definite time of release right?
  • err... kakabili ko lang ng lenovo Z480

    specs
    14"
Core i5-3210M (2.5GHz up to 3.1 GHz) <<3rd gen procie bale ivy bridge na
    4GB RAM
NVIDIA GT 630M 2GB / Intel HD 4000 (as bundled ata sa ivy bridge)

-sa battery ok na ok yung performance, pag walang extensive program running abot 3 hours to 4 hours low screen brightness, para 70% brightness 2 1/2 to 3 hours, pag gaming 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours
-mas ok battery management ng lenovo, kahit di muna tanggal;in yung battery para ma-preserve, may sarili ng way ang lenovo para dyan
-somewhat whole cover yung ilalim at madali lang tanggalin, 1 screw to remove the cover at makikita muna yung RAM, HDD, bluetooth, FAN<< ito gusto ko sa lenovo hindi ka mahihirapan linisin yung fan, pag marumi na or yung ilalim mismo kasi madali access, covered naman yung electronic parts
    -2 usb 2.o at 2 usb 3.0 <<< astig bale 4 ports usb
-ok na rin yung arrangement ng keyboard, i prefer to use external keyboard specially for gaming
-1 year and 6 months yung warranty na bigay ng villman
-intel graphics 4000 <<< the best built in graphics...
-build quality? hmmm sa tingin ko matibay, yung pagkakadikit ng parts eh wala kang makikitang flaws, lalo na sa mga gilid-gilid ng laptop, Ive seen the build of neo yung bagong labas na core i7 na priced 29.5k? napansin ko kasi dun sa may air vents, kita na yung electronics board, kaya doubt ako sa build nya no offense to the other users of neo, sa screen naman matibay ang build, nag try akong pisilin yung cover ng screen sa gilid, hindi nagblot yung screen meaning ok yung build nya
-yung mute/volume up/down/movie/night button nasa bandang taas at maganda yung pagkaka-gawa hindi kasi keys, parang soft keys, kaya pag naka off yung laptop wala kang makikita na keys, pero pag naka-on na, naka lighted white yung mga keys kaya maganda sa paningin

    cons?

as of now yun pa lang naman, 1 week na sa akin to

  • pede ba yan sa windows 7 ultimate sir?
  • pede ba yan sa windows 7 ultimate sir?

Definitely. Take your pick: either 32-bit or 64-bit flavor.

    cons?

You can replace it, anyway, should you wish. Take the 500GB HDD off, slap it into an enclosure, and, boom, you have an external hard drive. OR, buy one of those HDD caddies that fits in your ODD space, put the 500GB HDD in there, and you now have 1-point-something gigs of HDD space. (However, if you're the kind who likes to create beta copies of digital works and burn them into optical discs, the latter option may not work for you.)

    <click here for link>

  • @ charimar

sorry for the late reply, may problem kasi net ko
    about sa mga questions mo...

windows ultimate po gamit ko, well alam mo na siguro kung anong kopya hehe, yung sinabing up to windows 7 premium dun po yan sa bundled na laptop na may free windows 7 premium anyway its not free either since mahal yang may software na kesa sa walang software bale ganito po para ma picture out mo sa prices
    lenovo z480 dos/no windows OS = 31,000 php
    lenovo z480 w/ win7 premium OS = 34,000php

yap, this is an optimus with nvidia gt 630m video card 2GB, 128bit of video card could handle extensive games na rin
  • @rockdred

    Thanks po sa info..
  • no problemo hehe...

    and additional info..

    - now ko lang nalaman may dust extraction churva ang power management ng lenovo, anyways para syang command to extract dust dun sa vents, nangyayari lumalakas/bumibilis yung ikot ng fan, maybe to shake-off the dust and goes from higher to lower then to higher until you stop it manually, not bad kung ang alikabok na kumapit e dry, pag mejo dump then natuyo, sa tingin ko balewala na rin, sigurp mas maganda kung monthly check the vents and the fan for build-up of dirt, mejo ma-alikabok kasi dito sa amin kaya ganun ginagawa ko

    tia...
  • right click mo yung game na shortcut tapos "run with graphics processor" piliin mo nvidia =)
Well for me, I'll go for Lenovo Z480 Ideapad (planning to buy this x-mas)..
  • may nvidia optimus po ba yung lenovo z480?
