Kaiboer K3 Feedback/Info

    I am using the Encore ENUWI-1X42 wifi dongle. I also tested working the LP8617E wireless dongle.

    I think any wireless dongle that uses the Realtek RTL8188SU (LP8617E) or RTL8192CU (ENUWI-1X42) chipsets should work.

    BTW, the ENUWI-1X42 is now replaced by the ENUWI-1X45 with a 5dBi antenna.

    I don't know about "pinakmura".

    Maghanap kana lang ng Wifi dongle that use those chipsets I mentioned and see if they fit your budget. You generally get what you pay for.

    The K3 automatically detects the Wifi dongle on power up. Then you must setup the networking to connect to your wireless router.

    I don't have an HDD drive connected the K3. I use mine to access a DLNA server and NAS.

    You should get a good wireless N router to get full bandwidth. You will need that if you are streaming 1080P video files.

    Assuming na RTL8188CUS ang chipset, malamang gagana sa K3.

    Sa totoo lang in spite of my research, ang ENUWI-1X42 di gumana sa lumang Kaiboer M1073 ko. So napilitan ako bumili ng LP8617E for the M1073.

    Nagamit ko ang ENUWI-1X42 sa K3 which uses the newer Realtek RTD1185. So walang sure because dapat RTL8188CU or RTL8188SU chipset AFAIK. Malamang lang gagana.

    BTW, kung walang external antenna malamang dehado ma achieve ang high bandwidth unless malapit sa access point.

    hindi ba talaga gagana kung hanggang 150mbps lang kaya nung antenna? o gagana padin pero maglalag siya?

    I just discovered para ano ang CEC option sa System settings. Kung naka ON ang CEC option, pwede ma control ang K3 from the remote of my Sony LCDTV.

    So isa na lang ang remote na hawak ko. Dumadaan ang control sa HDMI cable. Kailangan din naka-enable sa LCDTV.

    Does anybody knows on how to enable the movie preview option sa K3 like the one on H1055 ng kaiboer na pwede mo makita yung movie pag ka highlight ng movie title? salamat in advance.

    Punta ka sa movie icon. Tapos pindutin mo menu..select mo dun yung preview instead of thumbnails or list

    may iseset bako sa audio setting para lumakas yung audio ko? parehas mahina sa speaker (5.1) at TV e.. madalang lang yung movie na malakas yung audio ko. guys help naman baka may alam kayong dapat ko iset sa setting para lumakas siya. HDMI po ang gamit ko.

    may problem ako sa kin, nakablue light lang siya, tapos ayaw pumunta dun sa welcome screen, ano dapat kong gawin? need ko bang i-reset?

    Baka may mga sirang electrolytic caps (bloated) sa unit. Kailangan na palitan.

    kelangan palitan yung unit o yung caps? di ko na alam kung saan yung digitag, wala na dun sa malapit sa gilmore
