guys ano kaya problema pag nagbblack screen yung monitor? bumili kasi ako monitor and hdmi and vga lang connections nya. now lang din ako gumamit ng hdmi for my computer kasi lagi ako dvi. sira kaya yung monitor na nabili ko? or hdmi ng gpu ko? ano kaya mga pwedeng cause? thanks.
sa windows mo lang ba na-experience yan or on some applications?
try mo mag-boot sa BIOS then check kung mag-off pa rin monitor mo.
kung OO -- definitely hardware. sabi mo nga, pedeng cable, monitor or VGA. try mo muna iGP to check / replace cable.

Only buy IF:
A. Kailangan mo sa trabaho (Photo/Video where color accuracy is required)

kung pang games lang naman, hindi talaga kailangan ng 3rd party calibration tool nyan (but if you have it, why not?) As mentioned above, Color Calibration tools are for professional use (was intended for that). -- to make the color of the soft copy nung image identical to print.

The color will go yellowish after calibration, and you\'re not gonna like it.

Yep. Some though really just don\'t like it. Someone once had his screen calibrated and after I did it, he didn\'t like it and asked how, if ever, can he revert it back to the way it was, and I showed him how. Most likely, he went back to the old profile prior to calibration. hehehe

True.

The color will go yellowish after calibration, and you\'re not gonna like it.
Advanced Color Management software allow you to set your preferred white point color temperature setting prior to calibration and profiling with a colorimeter or spectrophotometer. I usually stick with the industry standard sRGB color space, 6500K white point and 2.2 gamma and games, websites, videos, photos, etc. all looks great to me. The biggest improvement was when I calibrated my laptop display which had a strong blue cast out of the box. Now the color is consistent with my desktop monitor.

Yes, and it will be a bit yellowish than what most people are used to with products being marketed that usually have cool tint because it looks pleasing to the consumer. But after a while, your eyes will get accustomed to it.
Sorry for the vague statement. I was replying to vladz. Should have made the statement clearer.

^but that was a good point! - to give an idea to those who have not experienced calibrating their displays yet (with a calibration tool like Spyder/X-Rite)
calibration makes the display \"warmer\"...
just like in headlights, yellow lights penetrate better (specially in rainy / foggy days)

Wala namang problema sa refurbished as long as sa description niya ay indicated na \"refurbished\".
In fact, I\'ve been using one myself, so far ok naman.
May mga sellers kasi na binebenta as brand new ang monitor, pero actually refurbished naman siya.
