WARNING: READ THIS BEFORE YOU EVER THINK OF BUYING DEVANT TV.
I bought a 46" DeVant LED TV and it broke down after ONLY 8 months. The LED panel is defective. Since it is within warranty, I sent to devant and was told they replaced the panel because it was defective. After a year, the LED panel broke down again. I complained to devant and found out the panel was not replaced but was only repaired. Now they wanted me to pay very expensive for the replacement of the LED panel that warranty is now over where in fact they should have replaced the defective panel before when it was still within warranty. They fooled us! They sold us an inferior quality TV, they fooled us by not replacing the panel during warranty and wanted to charge us now that warranty is over. The unit is still with them because of dispute. Bottom line, DEVANT is a LOW QUALITY TV. Think twice before you throw your hard earned money with this TV. Don't experience what we experience with them because they won't heed you. They will stick to keep your money than to satisfy their customers. BEWARE!

Devant TV is a poor quality unreliable and not durable tv. it will breakdown in a year as many experienced it. Mine only took 8months and warranty is bad. They will not replace it and will charge you for the repair. You will regret if you buy this brand of TV

Those lines, Yes thats what happened to my DeVant 46 LED. black vertical lines are dead or busted/defective LED/LCD. soon horizontal defects come out then your panel will begin flashing. You ask for warranty but they will let you pay to replace the LED panel. Bulok na TV thats how I waste hefty amount of money to DeVant poor quality TV

Guys, I recently bought Devant 39ITV600. What doubted me first is its motion rate which is 60Hz. Is this rate already okay? Do you have any feedback about this model? I was thinking of buying a 32-inch TV with 120Hz. Thanks guys!

"Difference Between 60 Hz and 120 Hz HD LCD TV"
<"Before buying a new LCD, it is worthwhile to see the specifications of the TV in this regard. However, most people are not able to distinguish any noticeable difference in 60 Hz and 120 Hz rate. This is because fast moving images do not produce any dramatic effect on smaller screen size LCD’s. It is only with screen size 32” and more that one can notice the difference in refresh rates. It is a matter of debate whether a higher refresh rate (120 Hz) is better than 60 HZ. The difference in the quality of images is perceptible when one is watching action packed sport programs, and if you are an avid sport lover, and also like to watch them on a big LCD TV, it is better if you go for a TV that has a higher refresh rate.">

i have a 37in devant LCD tv, forgot the model, pero it's been with me for 2 years now.
TIA

kabadtrip ang service ng devant!
here is my scenario.
last may 11 my wife called the service center of devant. and ms. masangkay ask for details like name/serial number/concern. after a several hours a technician called and ask again for the concern (grr so redundant) so my wife state again the concern. then the technician said that they will visit next week no specific time and day.
today they called my wife to say that they will visit today. no specific time. since me and my wife go to work so we ask my father in law to tender the needs of the technician.
then came the technician. my father in law said the the technician replace the board then check if its ok. (of course it work you replace it with a different board eh!) then return my original board to the tv then test again (of course it will not work u didn't do anything with my board) then he said that we need to bring it to the SC because he doesnt have the tools or we have to buy the board which is worth 6k. we didn't leave much money cause i know it wont cost much. so my father in law just pay for the transpo of the technician.
concern:
1. they where inform about the concern so why didn't the technician brought a headset port(jack)
2. why do i need to replace my board knowing that the concern is just the headset port
3.why do i need to pay for the transpo fee eventhough he wasnt able to fix the problem.
4. im so irate right now. i did email them. will wait for ther response.
