  Only kindle paperwhite has built-in light on the screen. Any other version kailangan ng ilaw pag madilim/gabi.

  love my paperwhite, pero sana may paperwhite version nung dx,lol, parang masyado maliit para sa akin ang 6", mas comfortable ako sa 7" to maybe 7.5" pagdating sa ebook readers, just my observations

  After almost 3 year my kindle is now officially dead. :(
  
  Pero ang galing ng customer service ng amazon and ang daling macontact.
  I used the chat option since nasa pinas tayo.
  
  They offered me discounted (refurbished) kindles or buy a brand new with $15 discount.
  No need to send them my unit, they\'ll just deactivate my kindle (maybe some kind of unit ID/serial ;p).

  ^Mine is still alive and kicking, buti na lang. Yun nga lang, the cover is somewhat grungy-looking.
  Sometimes, I miss physical books, so I go to a bookstore and look at them. You know, just to say hi. =)

  1. Pwede bang mag install ng \"Wattpad\" dito?
  2. Pwede bang mag download ng story at basahin kahit offline.

  May nakapagpalit na ba dito ng battery ng kindle 3? Saan? O palitan nalang yung unit? Hindi na kasi maghold ng charge na matagal. Mga 20% of original capacity na lang ata.

  ..di pa ko nakpagpalit ng BAtt ng Kindle 3 pro nakapagbukas na ko ng Kindle 3, madali lang palitan un batt..Ang alam ko meron daw sa ebay na nabibili nung batterry kaso baka mahal, kapresyo na siguro nung unit sa ngayon. Pero try mo pa din sir kung gusto mo.

  It\'s been 2 years na pala. :)
  
  I finally got around into fixing my other Kindle 3. Actually, tinesting ko lang i-swap yung batteries nung Kindle. Lumobo pala yung battery niya. Hmmm...
  
  Sooo.. Now my other Kindle doesn\'t have a battery.
  
  Meron kayang available spare/replacement battery para sa Kindle 3 dito sa Pinas? Sa Greenhills kaya, meron nun? I just don\'t want to buy a replacement battery online.. :(

  1. I\'m not aware if you can install apps on the Kindle 3 (like on Android and iOS, although I was able to download a game for it once), but there is a web browser available so you can read Wattpad from there. :) (The early versions of Kindle 3 have access to free 3G internet. It\'s one of the reasons why I bought mine. It\'s slow, but good enough for reading manga!)
  2. I guess you can. You have to use a computer, however, and manually copy the stories from Wattpad you\'d like to read later. (Unless it\'s an eBook, which you can download and read later directly on the Kindle.)

  Hi guys tanong lang if bumili ako ng Kindle Fire hdx from amazon in the us and bring the unit here will they also honor the replacement warranty globally like they do with our kindle? I had my old kindle replaced within the replacement period and they sent me a new unit for free kasi before.

  ^any micro usb cable will do. kahit yung sa mga cellphones pwede unless gusto mo talaga yung sa amazon.

  I broke my Kindle 3\'s screen last Christmas. Anybody have the same problem? San kayo nagpaayos?
  
  May nakita akong guide pero hindi ko alam kung san makakabili ng e-ink screen dito sa Pilipinas.

  Yung kindle 3 ko may horizontal line narin sa taas at baba ng screen then may hairline crack na sa corner pero buhay parin... Waiting for the paperwhite na bumaba from $119 to 79...

  @Darkane, dati sa SM moa, malapit sa globe telecom, pero ngayon wala na. saka ang laki ng patong nila so baka better to buy here at tpc.
