yes possible malaman if naka login ang user. doon mismo sa captive portal moduel. pwede mo rin e kick ang user or e force logout.

eto na yung may logout:
login mo captive portal ni untangle..pwede may expiry number of hours.
kung gusto nila forced log out:
<Untangle's_LAN_IP>/users/logout
but works only on firefox and chrome. not on i.e.

<Untangle's_LAN_IP>/users/logout
Yes sir, that code is working pero naga-ask to save a file (depending on the browser)...
I already have a working (javascript) code (thought I just did some quick tests...) that will logout users, it even prevents the dialog asking to save a file to pop-up.
What I want to do is to check first, within the portal page (not from the Untangle control panel/Captive portal module), if the user (or machine) has logged in, so that I can display a logout button, instead of the login form (username, password fields + login link).
Baka meron code (javascipt or php) that will return the same list na nakikita sa Captive Portal module?

@wow lon,
It works only on firefox and chrome..
Im not aware pa sa gusto mong mang yari. Sa captive portal module lang ako nag check ng mga logged in users. Kumg gusto ko silang e kick or forced log out, doon din.
Usually ang mga users ko dont even care about logging out. Kasi wala naman limit,sa bandwidth used per user. Tapos may dedicated machine naman sila. Pwede e set na no concurrent log in. So di sila pwedeng mag log in on another machine without logging out the other one, or di nila pwedeng e share ang password sa isa para maka login sila sabay. Although pwede share pero isa lang maka gamit, pero thats another story.
So ginagawa ko, may expiry or time out naka set sa captive portal. For example 30 minutes or 60 minutes set ko. On the user side, when time out triggers, captive portal page will require credentials again. So enter lang ulet. Since mga users ko are staying in the office, so i set it at 12 hours timeout para di naman annoying.
In my case, less police tasks. Just letting them log in then thats it. Di na ako tumitingin sa captive portal module to check who are logged in, unless it is really needed.
Your situation may differ..

@phdot_com
Thanks sa reply...
Ang situation kasi sa amin, there are managers na may more than one device (laptop, tablet, phone). Nagpapalogout pa kasi sa amin kapag gusto nila lumipat ng device eh... Kung may logout page ako sila bahal to manage their login sa devices nila.

Untangle users, without using the paid Bandwidth Control app, is it possible to run iftop / jnettop while on SSH to the untangle commandline? If you are able to do this, please let me know. Thank you!
