MSI Gaming Laptops | Portable Gamers Den & Performance Lounge (Image size at 640 x 480 Max)

  • @Nizrel - i see, naalala ko may mga unit nga na napapalitan GPU at CPU . baka mas mura kung unit na lang na napapalitan GPU at CPU kesa yung one time buy na all set. isa pang hinihintay ko ilabas ni MSI is a full support for 60hz na HDMI for 4k ginagawa ko kasing monitor TV kapag nasa house.
  • thou may laptops that allows you to replace your GPU (not sure kung anong unit pero meron for future proof kung yun ang inaalala mo)

GT and GX series po upgreadeable lahat nang parts except yung GT72 and GT80 Titan na naka soldered yung cpu sa mboard.. yung MSI GT60-ivy bridge ko. Nabili ko nang 2012 from nvidia 670m upgreadead to 680m and now 970m the best. Lakas sa games and naka ssd ako.

Playing Batman Arkham and fps ranges between 40 - 60 plus in ultra mode setting

Take note Clevo and Msi gpu are compatible

  • Im thinking about buying a entry-level gaming laptop, 40-45k.. ano marerecommend nyo? Mas prefer ba if sa hindi dito sa Pinas bibili, malaki daw patong dito satin eh.. thanks.. And also, is it worth it na hindi upgradeable yung laptop nabibilhin?
  • Hi guys!

I've been using my MSI GE60 20E (i7-4700MQ|GTX 765m|8GB) for about two years now. I've been thinking of upgrading or replacing my system for a while now, and I have a couple of questions.

    1. Is there any way to upgrade my system's hardware (so that I don't have to replace the whole laptop) to meet the demands of the newer games?
    2. If I can't upgrade my system, what 15.6" and above gaming laptops do you guys recommend? Any brand, as long as it's worth buying. Preferably a "future-proof" one.
    3. Should I wait for MSI's (or any other brand's) 6th Gen processors + ddr4 boost line?

  • I'm also thinking about getting a new laptop. Did some research and as of the moment, the best bang-for-the-buck, locally available gaming laptop (IMHO) is NOT from MSI. And I was kind of hoping it was since me and MSI have a long standing relationship :)

For 50K, it has an i7-4720HQ procie, GTX960M gpu, backlit keyboard, 2 wifi cards. Downside is it only has 8 gigs of stock ram and a 15.6 inch screen. The laptop is from "A**r". But I can't seem to find a review of that unit here in TPC, although it got good reviews from other tech websites.

Hopefully MSI brings in some good models soon or at least upgrade the GPUs of their current offerings without raising the price tag. I really don't want to switch to another brand.

  • v nitro?
  • v nitro?

Yup. But I may have to reconsider getting this model, saw a thread in a Malaysian tech forum discussing the v nitro's heat issues :( too bad since the specs are really solid and the price is very competitive. The search continues...
