  kung sakaling ndi nilabas ang asus 1005HA or 1005P... anong netbook kaya ang binili nyo?

  may isang naka ads na 1005PE dito.. nakita ko chiclet type na pala ang keyboard ng 1005PE???
  
  ano pa ba pinagkaiba nila physically?

  Uu nga chiclet na KB ng PE..the rest same na lahat.. wala nga ako makita sa mga malls na PE eh...1005p lang.. ganda sana nung PE!........ <click here for link>

  reformated my 1005p and installed xp. during format i removed all the partitions kaya isa nalang ang drive. as expected nawala yung ASUS Express Gate. any idea how to reinstall this & compatible ba siya kahit windows xp ang OS? thanks.

  yung expressgate sa support.asus.com for 1005p sa windows 7 lang meron sir. when i searched for it kapag xp yung OS walang lumalabas na pwedeng download. compatible parin kaya yun?

  linux based OS with 5 second boot time. pwedeng magbrowse ng pictures, browse ng internet, watch movies, etc without loading windows.

  1005PE.......san kaya meron........ Black lang kc ang meron d2 sa tpc..white ang gus2 ko eh.. Wala pako makita sa mga malls... Baka 1005p nlng mabili ko bukas...

  But what I understand, it works only on PSE3 motherboard (drivers built in the software).
  
  Not sure if its ever been done, the bios needs to support it and from what the reviewer below mentions is even though its super fast to startup the OS menu, it still takes long to get it to do anything useful, eg. from power on, the web app takes 35 secs to be fully functional.

  So u might be better off using standby mode in xp which is about the same.
  On average standby uses 1% for every hour,
  eg. 8am to 11pm, u lose ~15%.
  
  Or if u want to save all battery life use hibernate, which takes an extra 10-15 secs.

  anyone notice that the touchpad sensitivity decreases kapag battery mode yung laptop. & conversely it increases kapag AC mode? anyway i noticed this na windows xp yung OS. di ko lang alam kung ganito rin sa win 7. ^_^

  i haven't used xp on netbooks that long, pag kabili ko ng netbooks or laptops, upgrade agad sa win 7....
  sa win 7, mouse sensitivity remained the same from batt to plug
  
  but, i don't think it's XP, it could be the settings of the touchpad,,,,
  download the new driver - yung may glide and bounce....

  tried using different versions of synaptics driver including the latest pero ganun parin.
  parang ganito yung nangyayari:

  weird pero when i uninstalled the synaptics driver & used the generic windows driver nawala yung sensitivity issue. yun nga lang kelangan synaptics ang gamit ko kasi hinahanap siya ng asus acpi utility sa startup...

  september daw dadating dito pinas may nabasa ako thread forgot ko lang kung saan...super hanap din kasi ako sa 1005PE kasi yun din type ko sana kesa 1005P kaso wala ako nakita.. chiclet KB na yata ang trend ng mga lappy ngayon kaya diko na bnili yung 1005p.. nag 1201T nlng ako.. 12inch chiclet KB...

  thanks for the info.. maybe ill just have to wait sa 1005PE. same looks lang kasi ang 1005HA at 1005P so kung 1005P ang kukunin ko, wlang pinagkaiba sa 1005HA ko na nanakaw. aside sa chiclet keyboard, meron pa choices sya sa finish. aside sa glossy finish, meron matte finish na parang may polka dots.
  
  @ those who wants to buy an asus netbook..
  
  you may also check the 1008KR Karim Rashid designer series. Distinctive ang looks nya.. mejo sosy ang dating. mas maganda yung coffee brown color kesa dun sa hot pink. 2 ang kasama nyang battery and each battery lasts for less than 4 hrs pag video mode.. nasa more or less 26k sya. 10 inch infinity screen (pareho sa HP mini 210), plus chiclet type keyboard. so dun sa gusto na mejo angat ang dating ng netbook nila kahit up to less than 4 hrs lang, you might want to get this...

  yup..meron nga matte finish 1005PE yung black parang may pagka carbon fiber effect astig!.. better w8 nlng nga sa 1005PE..

  any idea kung lalabas ang 1005PE dito satin? until aug 30 nalang kasi yung FREE ODD ng 1005P. im not sure kung ieextend pa ang promo? do u think ieextend yun?
  
  inaantay ko kasi yung 1005PE.. pero kung ndi naman lalabas, baka mag 1005P nalang ako. what do u think? pls help..

  kasi po FAN ako ni ASUSPH sa facebook kaya nakkita ko sa posts nya yung mga new netbooks dito sa pinas... try nyo add sya sa facebook tapos ask nyo sa kanya kung saan napo may available.. may finger print scanner panga yata yun..
