  • Sa peeps na nagmo-mod ng gunpla, anong tool ang ginagamit for creating panel lines?
Parang hindi kasi malinis pag hobby knife lang.
  • Lights on :D

  • guys, totoo ba yung balita na may clamp down on gunpla resellers (initiated by the official gunpla distro here). Also observed that some popular resellers on facebook stopped posting gunpla related items.
  • @kyrios
na-observed ko nga rin nga. One of my favorite seller has stopped selling any items for almost a year now, lately, they shared that there is a Bandai Ban on them (dunno the reason/cause) then lately, I notice that some of the FB seller I liked for price referencing has stopped selling any bandai items.
  • ung kilala kong online seller, tuloy pa nmn...
  • well hopefully konti lang maapektuhan ng clamp down if ever. 3 of the FB sellers I'm following recently changed their methods of posting items or stopped posting on their pages. However, mukhang OK pa namang yung 2 online seller with their own site na binibilhan ko

  • Hello mga master. Sino po kaya nakaka alam dito kung gano katagal ang curing time ng bosny chrome paint?

This is my second time (after several years) of painting gunpla using bosny spray cans.

I use the bosny chrome for the thrusters of MG Tallgeese, i know enamel base sya kaya di ko xa ginalaw for 36-48 hours.

But my problems is bakit pag hinawakan yung pininturahan ko, nag ffade yung pagka kintab hangang sa naging parang matte silver nalang.

I did two different process of painting para makita kung sino may best result.

1st is paint the part with gloss white let it cure then coat it with the chrome.

2nd is directly paint the part with chrome.

Both are cured for 36-48 hours but the results are the same, makintab xa sa una pero pag hinawakan ko na at ikakabit ko na nag ffade yung pagka kintab nya. :(

Should I primed it first? Or may mali lang talaga sa process ko? Or kulang yung curing time na binigay ko.

Any advice will be very much appreciated coz it would help me in my future builds. Thanks.
  • Long time no post.

  • @sirchnait
i checked google and it seems that most CHROME spray on can do fade to grey. So what most people do is protect it with clear coat, pero clearcoating chrome finish means less shiny but it will be protected from fading caused by handling.

as for the cure time, i think it should be over a week.
