Call Center Life

  • ^may mga bago na pafs. check mo na lang same procedure pa rin katulad ng dati. Walang stable, always andun yung risk. given na naman kase yun pafs eh. once na pumunta ka or kahit sa ibang bansa andun anudn pa rin yung risk.


    Yung will mo na lang on how to handle or fight back dun sa risk na yun..:) so far eto andito pa rin 6 years na alive pa rin. hangga't meron kayod marino lang tayo.. :D try mo pafs la naman mawawala eh..

    Marame na din nagpupunta talaga dito mga galeng dyan na work BPO.. yun iba pinalad, yubng iba hinde. pahirapan maapprove sa pass pafs. dame na din umuwe.. matinde pa rin labanan dito despite na marame na din umuwe sa kasamahan natin mga pinoy. Hinde lang pinoy, ibang lahi hinhigpitan na din.. goodluck pafs!

    since newbie ka pa, consider the location and credibility of the company. you can try out teletech, sykes, sitel, convergys. that recommendation is based on feedback from friends and from forums.

    salary wise wala ka masyado option since newbie ka nga. but expect offers of around 12k-15k. check din the health benefits.

    consider your schedule. expect to be put in the night shift. di rin malayo ilagay ka sa alanganing oras na sked. mga tipong 2 am yun start mo. especially pag tech support ka.

    and that also you have to consider. tech support (tsr) or customer service(csr)? if you know basic troubleshooting and don't mind impatient and slow customers, pwede ka mag-tsr. if you know how to talk your way out of a situation or kugn magaling ka magpalusot, csr naman. if you ask me i prefer tsr since less ang irate callers.

    you also have to know that the work is tough. di porket nirecommend sa yo ang mga companya na yan e magugustuhan mo na sila. there will be a lot of times you will hate them. just being realistic here.

    dapat gawin? mas maganda mag walk-in ka, puntahan mo yun gusto mo applyan na company. magdala ka ng resume. kung wala ka pa, kumuha ka na ng SSS number. NBI clearance din pala.

    di naman kailangan todo dress up ka, pero it would not hurt. at lest man lang may collar ang shirt mo. and wear pants and nice shoes.

    if undergrad ka, ang line of questioning nyan e yun tipong papipiliin ka between studies and work. ALWAYS choose work, or say that you can juggle the two together. lie if you have to.

    and after the interview what next???????

    iba iba processes ng bawat company. but expect to have exams and follow up interviews.

    if you get hired you will be asked to process various documents and undergo physical examination.

    again prepare yourself for tough work, filing vacation leaves would be hard, morning inuman sessions, scare tactics pag gusto mo magabsent kahit may sakit ka. with that said, don't take it seriously. know your rights as an employee para pag sa tingin mo agrabyado ka or tingin mo di tama, pwede mo kausapin kung sino man sa management para magkalinawan kayo.

  • hi guys! whew! finally i can post here, in fact dito ko sa office auto-in kaso avail.. hehe, walang magawa buti na lang hindi totally blocked tpc, awesomeness!! anyway, just wanna share na i've been an employee here for over 2 years na, till now even though escalated calls ang handle ko for supervisor requests ng mga kano eh tier 1 parin profile ko and talagang gapangan ang pag increae ng sweldo! unahan pa sa promotion, sosmaryosep! haba lagi ng pila and syempre politics! Parang gusto ko nang mag move on, kasi sa VXI da mas malaki sweldo, na train na kami tier 2 kala ko may dagdag sweldo, nganga! keri naman, mahal ko na tong company eh, tsaka tong mga tao dito kaso it's just not enough kung ganito lang kinikita ko, ka wave mate ko nasa vxi tier 2, 34k last cut off nya, total take home nya 24k with taxes deducted already.. haizt... esep esep...

  • so true! since january pa ko nagbabalak magpainterview dun sa vxi qc kaso hanggang ngayon hindi natutuloy, sabi ko hintay ko muna mag 2 years ako... tapos hintay ko muna magkaron ng opening for promotion... ngayon talaga pag itong application ko hindi naging successful, move on na, kahit pa pagod sa byahe at gastos sa pamasahe kung ganun na 24k per cut off ko eh solve na solve ang buhay..

    i gave this company a chance, ive been loyal, proven my worth and dedication but still...

    Boom!mga 3 weeks ng Work force,hehehe maliit sweldo,malaking responsibility.OKs lang,wala ng calls.
    ganun eh.
    wife ko sa At&T TSR sa G5 CVG baba sweldo nya.
    share share lang.
    before ako naging WF eh Google AdWords Account ko AU/NZ.maganda din Comisyunan Sa VXI Makati,walter mart na ako ngayon eh.laging Closer(6am-3pm).
    kapit kapit lang tayo.makakamit din hinihintay na Promotion.
  • actually, that's what I'm applying for, Workforce Management... it took a while before that post opened up, they only need 2 and there are like 15 of us applying! LOL! Bahala na, ika nga eh, "every moment hesitated is a moment GONE in life", so I might as well take my chances.... sa VXI! Who knows, I might have lost a LOT of money already by staying here and not applying there just like what my wave mate advised me to do 2 years ago. hahahaha...
  • san po may opening na may good pay? preferably tech account like helpdesk. refer nyo ko =) been in the industry for 5 years, sulit referral bonus nyo =)
  • dito samin sa teletch, taas ng attrition, previous batches samin na non voice,
    5 lima lang pumapasa out of 20 trainees. ewan ko ba, strict siguro ang client.
    ok naman pay 19k for non voice. telco lang so , its not for everyone.
