    aganda pa rin yung pumapasok ka para di lang kumita, yung ganado ka pumasok kasi masaya ka sa work environment at gusto mo yung trabaho mo.

    Haha maganda talaga may motivation, para kahit down na down kana may mapaghuhugutan ka. Ayos yang bata mo iphone6 balita ko more than 50k yun haha goodbye 13th month pay yun malamang.

    Ako motivation ko makatapos ng college, self supporting student kasi ako hehe! 5yrs nako nag aaral tapos 3rd yr palang ako toinks. Pero yung mahigit 2yrs ko sa industriyang ito maraming naituro sakin na magagamit ko after grad :)

    Boss mahirap talaga pag may mga umeepal sa work place, pero tolerable naman yan. You can always keep your circle small and let your work speak for itself, there is also HR and your TMs na pwede mo lapitan kung kinakailangan.

    Swerte ko pala at puro telco napasukan ko sa first 2 years ko. Nahasa ako sa matinding workload and pressure (lalo na sa uverse) kaya kahit saan mapunta parang petix nalang haha! Iba rin kasi talaga pag nakadanas ka ng pasarap lalo sa simula, hahanap hanapin mo na yun at pag di mo nakuha lilipat at lilipat ka.

    Mahirap hanapin ang perfect company, malamang wala talagang ganyan. May kanya kanyang baho yan nasa sayo kung ano kaya mo tiisin. Minsan nga mas mahirap pa ang back office kesa sa mga sales or cust care accts eh. Kahit yang mga chat or email support roles may mga challenges din yan. Pero baka malay mo yun na nga ang maging swerte mo, baka kaya ka umaayaw na sa calls kasi dun ka pala magiging okay. Hmm... aabangan ko storya mo rito sa grupo, update mo kami from time to time ha :)

    Tama ka dyan sir.. Parang same tayo ng kwento, nag start din ako sa telco account. Grabeng queing sabayan pa ng mga kumag na management. Sobrang pahirapan mag file ng leave haha. Tumagal lang ako ng 5mos. Kasi natanggap ako sa local account na claims processor ( eto yung sa mga hmo)
    Kaso mababa sweldo, pero napaka petiks! Pwede ka matulog sa kalahati ng shift mo pag tapos mo na work load. Nonvoice pala to. Naramdaman ko na wakang growth kaya umalis ako. Hanggang napadpad na naman ako sa bpo na dayshift. At andito pa rin ako sa company na to. Kahit sablay minsan ang management at mga kasama mo pero normal na lang cguro to. Wala talaga perfect company. Hehehe

    Patagal pa ako ng mga 3 years tsaka pursue ang it helpdesk/service desk post. Mas ok kung it post. Pangarap ko rin talaga mag land sa it department. Hehehe

    anong course mo sir? sa accenture ka na magsimula. CVG (or convergys for long) is an old brand-name in the industry, pero sad to say, it's pretty "average". pangalan lang ang puhunan nila. consider it the prada of the BPO biz.

    kung IT ka, maraming options sa accenture, dito ka talaga matuto on how things work, stay here for at least 2 years and malaki na market value mo afterwards and you can gun for the bigger fishies.

    Im not sayingt that ACN (or accenture) is an end game BPO, far from it. this is the best stepping stone is what im saying.

    pag tumagal ka, marerealize mo talaga na walang perfect company. lahat ng mapupuntahan mo may mga reklamo. i hope everyone here arrives to that point in our career maturity that it's not about finding the best company, it's about trying our best to be the best employee that we can be.

    everyone's experiencing the same bullshit. those who succeeds are those who find ways in how to live with and survive with the bullshit. no two ways about it.

    Wag ka muna mag focus sa salary pag fresh grad ka. Ang importante makapasok ka sa company na matuto ka ang magkaroon ka ng magandang experience. Agree ako kay mordath na best stepping stone ang ACN.

    tomoo. fresh grads need not trouble themselves with the offer. that will come in due time after may credentials and experience ka na.

    expect less than 20k for your 1st job. unless cum laude ka :)

    ACN number1 BPO in da phils for a few years running. pero pagdating sa facilities kamote.. feeling 3rd rate. kaya napilitan ako bitbitin sa desk ko yung MKB ko saka gaming glasses para i can document in style when grinding documentations and reports lol XD

    dito lang din sa ACN ako hindi nagjajacket.. medyo tipid sila sa ambient temps. NKKLK

    Kapag natuloy na maghire ng IT helpdesk dito, not sure lang kung kelan try mo. 100 employees lang dito plus isusupport lang globally is AMEA lang ata. Mababait lahat ng managers, directors dito sama month na ang GM (kaclose ko lahat). Alam ko starting ng mga employees dun sa dep na maghihire is 25k.

    FYI, contractor lang ako dito (our client) as IT assistant, mag-2years na this coming December pero reg employer ako sa main company ko for 5 years. Naghihintay lang ako ma-absorb dito para tiba-tiba, hehe. Parang hindi nga contractors turing sa amin, kung ano binibigay na give-aways, etc. sa employees meron din kami pero mas malaki lang konti ang employees. At isa pa, mag-yellow/orange lang ang rainfall forecast at baha lugar, work from home na, sila pa mismo nag-aadvise, di kayo magbubuwis buhay, hehe.

  • mga sir tanong lang regarding sa Teleperformance Sucat, nag JO ako kanina pero hindi ako nag sign, pinapabalik ako para bukas for 'off sign' interview daw, pag bumagsak ba ako dito possible na hindi ko makuha yung JO? and anytips para sa interview? first time ko kasi on this type of interview.

    Ako naman okay lang queing basta worth it yung bayad. Wag kana mag trabaho kung puros petiks hanap mo, kung meron man ganun iilan ilan lang, swerte ika nga. May nabasa ako dating article, kaya daw di ganun ka unlad ang pinas dahil sa mga workers, gusto malaki bayad pero petiks. Just my 2 centavos.

  • anybody who's worried about kups, bad management, bullies, etc. at the office, here's some of my advice:

    - don't take it seriously
    - don't take yourself seriously. self-deprecating humor is good for meeting future friends.
    - stay away from chismosos/chismosas obviously. the people you talk about gossip should be your close friends at the office. don't gossip with anyone for the sake of fitting in.
    - on that topic, don't feel like you need to fit in. you're at the office to earn money, not to be popular. if you want to be popular, do a cover song or a stupid stunt and upload it on youtube.
    - for men: the work environment is different from school. bullies are in a different form now - the have loud mouths mostly. just know that at work, in terms of physical strength, it's a level playing field. let that give you confidence. just like that scene in fight club where tyler and the narrator observe people and wonder if they would be able to beat them up in a fight.
    - same topic on bullies for women: make friends with nice guys. easier than you think. gather enough and you've got a posse that would make you untouchable. they exist, but they probably are camouflaged by the said loud mouths.
    - just accept the fact that some metrics are near impossible to attain. don't be hard on yourself if you don't hit them all. as long as you don't stay at the bottom of the charts, you're fine.
    - it's good to be friends with those "pamilyado" types too. you'll learn to spend money wisely, and you'll learn how to be mature and content with your life.

    - visit this thread whenever you can.
  • convergys - may bond 20k ata for 4 months.
    IBM - may bond din forgot if its 6 moths.
    VXi - may bond for 6 months
    Accenture - bond for agents is 100k for 1 year and if non-agent it's 200k for 2 years.
    Teletech - may bond din.

    These call center's are misusing the labor code of implementing the bond policy which is only meant for Agencies since agencies spend on field training, equipment(guns, medical trianing equipment, etc) and uniforms to justify the bond. Not to mention that our labor code hasn't been updated since the 1960's.

    we have an opening for all standard posts here, from tech, IT, TSR, CSR, backffice etc. yung mga specialized posts lang ang sometimes rare.

    btw, mas marami kaming openings for IT, programmers, SAP, devs, and backoffice openings kesa sa mga voice accounts namin. the CSRS/TSR posts account for less than half of the workforce. must warn you about the work culture though.. ACN will run you like a horse. di uubra petiks dito. meritocracy is the name of the game. those looking for an easy time should not trouble themselves with ACN. pero if performer ka naman, bumabaha ng pera dito, certifications and recognitions.



    TAE KA IKAW NGA PALA YUNG NASA DESIGN!!! anu na balita jan? share your experience so far lol

    anyways, WHEN i finally get fed up dito.. i'll just homebased myself. getting back no less than 5 hours of commute everyday opens up a lot of possibilities for me :)

Ok ba inbound sales sa concentrix? Hilig daw kasi ng kapatid ko mag inbound sales kasi yun lang daw account ang may potential na lumampas ng salary kada payout unlike sa mga tsr, csr na stuck lang sa basic, night diff, at performance bonus.

    Illegal ang forced RDOT sa labor code natin. Pwede pa ang OT kasi since work day. Pero naalala ko yung kaso na hawak ng friend ko dati taga DOLE. Yung Hinduja dun sa Libis 9 months straight OT every day mga employees nila minimum 2hrs. Maski yung labor lawyer nagulat dun talo pa daw mga naka 4 by 11 na schedule. Palusot ng atty ng Hinduja eh paid naman daw ang OT nila kaso sabi naman ni labor atty di parin pwede yun kasi may minimum hrs of rest per day dapat na 12 hrs ang pahinga ng employee.

    Yes sir. Kaya ang nangyayari is kung ma-reprimand, hanggang coaching tapos they won't give the performance incentives. Yan ang top reason bat lumipat dito sa amin ang ilan sa mga agents. :)
