I\'m working at home po ksi. Globe LTE Tattoo@Home po ang ISP ko. Nkapagdownload nko ng iba ibang softphone like zoiper, xlite, vicidial, eyebeam, etc. So what I did is to go and connect my laptop sa kapitbahay nmen na nka Globe DSL.

  • @jed

mas stable and connection ng wired kesa sa wireless. best option is for you to switch to wired ISPs like dsl and cable

  • Magandang gabi, baka may ma suggest kayo na open source for monitoring calls (marinig ng live or recording ang mga calls).
  • Need your help mga experts, about a small project i have in mind.

I have a normal landline sa bahay, i want to utilize it by routing it to the internet via voip.
Para magamit namen yun local line sa pinas pag kelangan namen tumawag to local number while we are overseas.
I'm thinking more of outgoing calls, pero pag ma configure ko din ng incoming calls eh d mas OK.

    Can i do like this?

PSTN -> Cisco SPA122 -> Router -> Internet <-> SIP Phone (Iphone, Android phone)

i can source a Cisco SPA122ATA, can it act as the SIP relay/gateway?

or i need to do like this?

    PSTN -> Cisco SPA122 -> (Asterisk/3CX) ->Router -> Internet <-> SIP Phone (Iphone, Android phone)

I want to eliminate to setup a SIP Server sana if it is possible, meron bang appliance that i can buy to solve this na affordable lang.

I am in Canada, and I used to have my old Linksys SPA3102 in my mother's house in Novaliches.. I set it up to have a (free) US number and when I call that number from here in Canada, it goes to my SPA3102, and answers it. When I press the 0 key, it automatically routes it to the PSTN line giving me a PLDT dial tone... and I use it to dial out to metro manila numbers...

kaso with the advent of FB and social media, tinanggal ko na at dinala ko na ulit dito yung SPA3102 dahil wala naman akong tinatawagan na sa landlines sa pinas and most people have cellphones na... Yung cellphone plan ko naman sa Canada has free international SMS so I can text all I want to pinas...
  • rolandg

so your SPA3102 is configured to connect to a SIP server in Canada to have a free US number, then your house in Novaliches can call you in Canada na parang local calls lang.
Pero how it happens na when you press 0 key it connects you to the PSTN line and even can make outgoing calls.

I'm here in SG so getting a US number is not an option for me though.
  • @2lits17

I used IPKALL, to get a washington area code phone number.. you can basically get it and configure your SPA to receive calls as a US number.

The SPA3102 has settings that allow you to route the incoming call to the PSTN line, and you can set an access number, which in my case is a "0" and it will route the PSTN line to the incoming call.

Once you get the PSTN line, I can then dial out to any Metro Manila number...

You can google SPA3102 route VOIP calls to PSTN...

I think the how-to is here:

  • @rolandg

Thanks bro for sharing the link nabasa ko na yan and it needs to connect to a SIP proxy, i will take a look on IPKALL. Since I'm currently in SG and that server is in US there might be latency issue, as it will be going to US pa then go back to PH. I want to minimize yun latency as much as possible so I was thinking direct lang connection from SG to PH to minimize the latency since alam mo naman ISP sa Pinas hinde stable.
  • @2lits17

I don't think you will have any issues with latency since mabilis naman internet between Singapore and USA... wala ka lang choice kasi wala naman VOIP servers na free sa pinas (that will give you PLDT numbers...
  • @rolandg

True. US at Canada lang madaming free VOIP SIP Servers.

Currently, we're using Cisco IP Phone 7841.

    Thank you in advance.
  • guys i think related pa naman to dito baka lang may interesado sainyo may mapupulot pa din naman for sure. FREE Network Basics webinar series - pacheck na lang sa Facebook: <click here for link>
  • sana may free webinar ulit
  • @Henrelle09

Karaniwan may network issues o codec ito. Teka ano muna network diagram niyo? Voip provider?
  • Anong recommended setup for personal home use voip?
Will just be used for food ordering, calling technical support, calling banks locally.
Any recommended providers or soft phones?
    TIA

Meron ba ditong gumagamit ng VOIP sa work niyo using SIP UDP, na nag kakaissue sa kahit anong VOIP aplication example (Zoiper, Bria etc.. pero pag nag switch ka ng ISP to PLDT, walang problem.

    Main: isp Globe Fiber 50mbps
    Backup: PLDT prepaid internet
  • Hello, anyone here who knows how to disable SIP on Globe at Home modem? It is affecting my work and I tried every possible fi9x for it. Thanks!
  • @all

Guys question lang po correct me if I'm wrong po

Meron po kaming nakalatag na cable pang rj 11 and icoconvert namin sya sa rj45 connection para makapag set up kami ng VOIP

  • @Jepoyiee

  • Hi! Looking for someone who's able to setup web SMS management software and gateway (Gammu, kannel, PlaySMS, Jasmin, etc.) along with an existing Sangoma 7 freePBX system. SMS management and gateway must also support multiple usb modem dongles and sim card so that SMS that comes in from any dongle will be received in the web UI and be able to replied to using a preferred sim card from the USB modems.

Contact me for details thanks! 09174016448
