  • di pa kelangan mag rush sa 4k resolution. mas magandang mag antay pa talaga hanggang normally na kaya na siya ng maraming gpus and the technology later on for 4Ks will be better sa panahon na yun and that will be the good time to go 4k. not to mention games are also getting more and more hungry on gpu power.

    if money is not an issue to you then go 4k and im sure you also have the budget for a high end GPU kung ganun.

    sinabi mo pa! hjahahaha! pwede mo pang fast forward hahahahah!

    honga, wait and see na lang ako kung ganun. napaisip din ako na nagtrabaho maige yun 680, pero it makes sense naman din since pixel pushing yun 4k movie. i'd go for screen size + features ng HDTV na lang for now, try ko na din maexperience mag 3d sa bahay hehe.

    ask ko lang sa thread na to mga sir. e nagbabalak pa naman ako maghanap 4k monitor. but based on the experience of sir jopat as quoted. 4k movies lang naman habol ko mga sir (they're slowly but surely coming):
    - do i just wait and see until video cards that handle 4k better come out
    or
    - plunge in and get a 4k monitor

    Malaki ang performance hit dahil 24-30fps lang yung videos, pero ni-play sa 60fps. Bale, parang lumalabas na x8 na 1080p videos pine-play na sabay-sabay. Tapos puro hardware-accelerated yung decoding. Kung normal 4k video playing wala ka naman magiging performance hit sa rig mo.

    Tama. Napakamahal ng magiging build pag pang 4K gaming ang PC. Di pa kasama dyan yung mahal na 4K monitor

    Sa tingin ko, 2 to 3 years more pa bago maging mainstream ang 4K gaming.

    ayun ayos pala din. btw medyo OT, ano monitor gamit mo? pricey pa pala kasi yun 4k monitor na nakita ko 30k yata tapos 30 inch, then di ko pa sure kung ok yun features. parang di naman beneficial kung 30" inch lang screen, yun ultrahd na tv kasi nagstart sa 50" swak yun pixel density sa ganun size, sharp na sharp pa din. so really would go for a full-featured 42inch tv na lang.

    @bintsmok

    honga mahal pa mag 4k. bukod sa mahal na hardware, additional pa lalo sa mga malabo mata tulad ko dapat pa siguro magpa laser para maappreciate ng todo ang 4k haha.
