Sun Broadband Wireless (No Trading)

  • well dont see any small print sa sun website so I assume na unlimited talaga

Within 24hrs yung processing. Kung sa bank or payment center baka 3 days pa ang posting so maghihintay ka pa ma post before ka ma-reconnect.
  • tnx netshark

  • After forgiving the slow decline of Sun Broadband's speed and service, ubos na talaga pasensya ko dito. Yung 100-200kbps (10-20kb/s download speed), kaya pa talaga pagtyagaan for casual surfing, pero yung 20kbps (2kb/s download speed) -not worth the stress.
  • Yes

  • Sun has gone downhill since end of last year. It used to be that one could get 30kb/s during daytime and after 1am switched to "night mode" to a fairly consistent 300-400kb/s (kbyte). I found it to be tolerable as downloading could be done at night.
There was always huge lag when opening websites (Globe on the same USB stick was lightning in comparison).

Now it's at 5-20kb/s 95% of the time and randomly goes to 100-200kb/s for a brief period.
It doesn't make any sense as today it went into its "fast mode" at 9:30pm, peak usage period! This resulted in crawl speed when opening websites.
I won't even discuss the downtime, it was down for days at times.
No idea what the people at Sun are thinking, if they are thinking anything, that is.
  • One applies for SBW to have a billing statement under his/her name, it's a proof of address that One can use with other institutions.
  • All tests done within the last 15 minutes, wi-fi modem reset before testing, HSDPA indicated from modem, 699 plan.
