@jlaw,

@AKI

For hobbyist, Marami namang other satellite na pwedeng tutukan. You can also get better STB which offers card sharing functions like dm 500.
just my 2 cent..

Mga Masters and all here the thread;
May i speak and asking your opinion. Sir and maam; diba ang bato ng ibon at lagi nandyan sa ere. but to receive that is you need to buy some equipments to receive that signal pra makuha at mapanood naten s tv.
And what is the difference kung legal din ang bili mo ng equipment communications at nagassemble ka ng dish in your backyard.
I'm a newbie at planning to setup a sat tv.
Thanks!

@ savior

ano un sinasabing legal subscription? is it from dream? can we use our bolt 430 to connect to dream legally? with the card?
if i wil buy a receiver, bang for the buck ba un investment? can i find a satellite that offeres hbo, basketball tv, cinemax?

pag missing channels po eh most likely signal loss yan or yung smartcard ang may problema.
@all
tell me more nga po sa satellite tv providers dito sa pinas kasi I work for Dish Satellite sa US. makumpara ko lang yung presyuhan. Thanks!

Sulit pa rin yung mga FTA channels like the 5 sports channels (tennis, golf, football and extreme sports), nature music videos ng HCBN channel na very relaxing, Smile of A Child Channel para sa mga kids, Living Asia travel documentary channel, DW TV from Germany, Flip TV showing old Pinoy sitcoms/movies and the karaoke channel.
