    A member of a small cross-functional core team focused on providing a center of excellence for ORACLE DBMS within the wider administration and support team. This core team will be responsible in providing database schemas, objects and logical codes in Oracle database environment. Working together with other Midrange technical teams and Development teams to produce the efficient database solution intended to be used as an enterprise scale relational database.

    The Database Administrator will be part of the team that focused on providing optimized logical and SQL scripts. This team will also closely work DBAs who perform proactive administration, preventive maintenance, and management of Safeway’s database environments. The successful candidate will also work under the supervision of management and also help in devising efficient build support processes, to enable business applications that will run on these environments.

    The DBA is also expected to provide guidance and direction for the Junior and Intermediate levels.

    Technical Analyst

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

    The PMO Business Analyst provides primary support and development of PMO application tools and processes. He receives requests from Business and/or IT users and uses procedures to carry out activities to accomplish requests. He troubleshoots issues reported on PMO tools or processes and carries out activities to resolve such incidents or problems.

    Telecommunications Engineer

    This Individual will have a proven record of engineering and implementation of enterprise
    Telecommunications infrastructure, has a strong sense of commitment, is highly business oriented and skilled at delivering robust Telco solutions. This individual will collaborate with her/his peers who have similar responsibilities for the entire enterprise infrastructure to ensure consistent world class Telephony services for the business. S/He will contribute to the global Telecommunications architecture by ensuring a consistent standardization of the infrastructure.


    Key Responsibilities:

    The qualified candidate should have a proven track record of designing and implementing large scale Telecommunications infrastructure using Nortel BCM, Nortel Meridien, and Siemens PBX. The candidate will work with a team of Telco engineers who have the enterprise responsibility for engineering Telecommunications solutions.

    * In-depth configuration, development, and troubleshooting experience in Nortel BCM, Siemens HiPath, and HiCom PBX.

    Oracle Database Administrator Build

    A member of a small cross-functional core team focused on providing a center of excellence for ORACLE DBMS within the wider administration and support team. This core team will be responsible in providing database schemas, objects and logical codes in Oracle database environment. Working together with other Midrange technical teams and Development teams to produce the efficient database solution intended to be used as an enterprise scale relational database.

    Basic Function:
    Responsible for acting as an internal resource testing technical project(s) throughout the development team to ensure system meets business needs; based on project assignments, participate in activities related to consulting with end users (i.e., clients, internal customers, etc.) to determine the scope and objectives of proposed programs or program enhancements, assisting with identifying requirements utilizing end user feedback; may write code for new and existing programs based on detailed design specifications and given requirements while adhering to established policies, procedures and deadlines.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    * Either an Associate's degree in computer science, MIS, or a related field or a Programming Certificate from a recognized institution is required.
    * A Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or a related field is preferred.
    * Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements above.
    * Minimum two years experience in business operations with an emphasis on testing or process/procedural documentation required.
    * Minimum two years programming experrience using a standard coding language (Java, C, C++, HTML, Perl, SQL, VB, COBOL) is required
    * OR
    * Minimum two years experience with a testing tool platform (WinRunner, Test Director, LoadRunner, etc.)
    * One year of experience with Hammer Technologies Test Harness for telephony test case scenarios preferred but not required.
    * Oracle or Informix certification preferred but not required.
