  • Position Title : Computer Programmer II (Contract of Service Worker)
    Functional Title : Computer Programmer II
    SG Equivalent : 15 (Php24,887.00)
    Office Assigned : DSWD Central Office - Property and Asset Management Division

    1) Design, develop and maintain software/database systems;
    2) Recommends appropriate development tools to be utilized in coordination of connectivity and available resources;
    3) Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instructions so others can understand and use the program;
    4) Train users/encoders on the use of program/software/application;
    5) Write, update, and maintain computer programs or software packages to handle specific jobs, such as tracking inventory, storing or retrieving data, or producing reports;
    6) Perform or direct revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements;
    7) Render technical assistance to field offices and other OBSUs relevant to property database system;
    8) Assist in the monitoring and inventory of property/equipment of the Department;
    9) Perform other technical tasks related to the position that may be given from time to time; and,
    10) Render additional services as authorized in the exigency of the service which shall be compensated accordingly.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other ICT/MIS related education
    Experience : At least six months experience in Web Application Development (preferably with knowledge in mobile application development)
    Training : 8 hours relevant training
    Eligibility : Non-required

    Additional Qualifications:
    1. Experience and knowledge in web development and database management
    2. Advance skills in PHP programming
