Bad experience ako kay fafs, i bought to him his "Power Color 5770 PCS+" though the video card i bought was turning on it has major defects which he insists its compatibility issue on my side, kala ko pa nga sira e, delayed boot up lang pala sa POST. To which i contested and dared for him to test the video card and i will remote his PC, but no reply to him.
The problem was:
- long boot time on POST
- PCI-E speed shows as x1 insted of normal x16
Troubleshooting done:
MY RIG:
- tested ATI 7770 on my mobo, PCI-E x16 (no prob!)
- tested NVIDIA 9600gt on my mobo PCIE-E x16 (no prob!)
to which the vcard i bought still shows x1 on speed
FRIENDS RIG:
- tested NVIDIA 8800gt on his mobo, PCI-E x16 (no prob!)
- tested ATI 7770 on his mobo, PCI-E x16 (no prob!)
- tested NVIDIA 9600gt on his mobo PCIE-E x16 (no prob!)
to which same results appeared, still shows x1 on speed and slow boot time on POST
Need more proof, tested on CRYSIS, CRYSIS: Warhead, MW3, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, GTA IV, Devil May Cry 4, Mass Effect 2 & 3, the list goes on. To which the performance lagged even though its a mid-high vcard, Kinain pa kaya siya nung 9600gt which is suppose to be a lower card. Kahit tignan niyo pa review ng vcard its suppose to give mid-high performance on said games.
I can list more pero, hindi po ibig sabihin na kapag nag-on OK na there are undelying factors na importante rin sa consumers, which can direct the item from defective to good and working.
I have saved PMs and text message kung ayaw niyong maniwala na i texted him as soon as i found out na ayaw gumana, then nung long boot time ok lang sana pero yung x1 speed not tolerable because x1 is by any means malayo sa x16. -

third negative, because i am really frustrated in the item i bought, i have no big positive feedback but i am a much senior member here in TPC and i know the rules of engagements. i have bought here every year everytime i find a good upgrade for my rig, now i was going to assemble a PC for my lil sis, now i am force to buy a different vcard for the rig.
